My wife just brought home 2 brisket sandwiches. The liquid smoke was used so heavily that the sandwiches tasted like an ashtray. No way real smoked brisket should taste like this.

We each ordered combo plate and the Texas Reuben. The best bbq I have had to date. Tender pork, ribs delicious. Brisket tender and spicy. Cole slaw perfect sauce and awesome. The beans were sweet, spicy, vinegary, never tasted beans like that and have to say so yummy! Rosemary buns from owners own recipe. It's a bbq place so expect no waitresses, fancy ambiance, just American food at its best. Definitely returning!

Hands down the best brisket in Bellingham. A properly understated atmosphere to let you know the focus is on the fare, and it shows.Respectfully, anyone complaining about portions or pricing doesn’t know barbecue. I can’t think of a spot in any place I’ve lived doing it this well for these prices.Big Stick immediately hooked me and I’ll be stopping in any time I get a hankering for that sweet marbled goodness. Brisket, Brisket, Brisket! Loved it. Fork tender, nice crust, and excellent hint of smoke. Beans were very tasty, and the slaw was much loved by my partner. Could not quite figure out sauce. No matter, brisket was so good. Only issue, neither rolls or corn bread were gluten-free. No matter. The brisket was just that good. Add to that excellent service and the warehouse ambiance - we'll definitely be back next time in Bellingham.

Even before entering the building, the smell of smoke prepares you for the delicious treats which await inside. Brisket was amazingly tender with just the right amount of seasoning and smoke ring. BBQ beans had just the right amount of spicy zip and flavor, beans were perfect texture. Pork belly burnt ends were drizzled with a deliciously sweet sauce with apple flavor, so good. The coleslaw was just ok, but not really the main feature of why someone would come here, eh? Arnold Palmer wasn't too sweet - the lemonade has a tart kick to it!Big Stick is going on my list of Bomb BBQ and places to return when I'm in the area.
