The bbq brisket and pulled pork were great. The accompanying sauces were also good. The salads (Cesar, potato and coleslaw) were all good. Unfortunately the Mac and cheese was dead in the water. So flavorless, rubbery and no sauce at all. It was like eating melting cheese on buttered noodles. The cashier/waitress seemed stressed out and was the only person working the front and answering phones.. didn't want to bother her more. Other than the Mac and cheese, we loved the feel of the restaurant, and tried to picture how busy it would be without COVID19. Loved the hand drawn art on the wall!

The brisket sliders were phenomenal! The cheese bread was the most flavorful and even great later when cold! Potato salad was yummy as well!

I had ordered a to go meal. Walked in, was greeted right away. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. Food was right on time and an excellent meal it was.

High marks for quality all day. The owner is a true connoisseur of bbq. He puts his heart and soul into his offerings and it shows. Pizza is pretty good too. I dig the sauce they use but not sure if it's housemade or trucked in. Either way, great lunch spot and good atmosphere.

Have not been in several years but was happy to see their menu expanded. Great food and service. Will be returning soon.

It was good as barbecue goes but we just didn't like the wings. The meat was fine but the skin was almost rubbery. Must say the Mac and cheese was awesome though, would go back for that.

The owner of this place is incredibly rude and nasty, to both his wait staff and to his customers. The food is not great either. I looked at their own website online, phoned in a salad order and went in to the restaurant to pick up. The Square CC machine was not working for the waitress and the owner came over to the cash register to try it. First he was incredibly rude to me saying it was my card (in a nasty tone) then he moved to cancel the order the waitress had wrung in and re-entered the salad order charging me $2 more! I said, "Wait...That's more then $2 more...That's not the price on your menu that I just ordered from online." In a nasty tone he said, "Well, there's taxes and who knows what website YOU were looking at--they have different pricing...like Door Dash..." and after snapping at me, he turned his back and walked off. He charged me more for the chicken caesar salad then the price for even EVERY other the salad dish on THEIR WEBSITE menu. The poor waitress looked at me (with a fearful look--I'm sure she was scared by him and that I might nasty at her) and timidly handed me the CC slip to sign. I still tipped her--for the misery she suffers working for the j**** even though she was scared to correct the transaction. This is not the first time he has been rude to me as a customer, and I have witnessed him be rude to every waitress in the place EACH TIME I've gone in there! The food is NOT that great, which is why I've been in only a 1/2 dozen times in the 3 years I've worked around the corner. Save your money, don't support this guy, and get some delicious tacos just around the corner at the Taco truck on the corner!

For starters I am a BBQ snob. I have eaten BBQ all over this great country. J&H has some of the best BBQ I have had. I am particularly fond of the pulled pork, it is awesome with or without sauce. Moist and smokey it does not disappoint. I purchased a smoked ham from J&H for Christmas dinner this year (2019) and it was delicious!

Good food, good service and prices are reasonable for what you get.

The sandwiches were excellent, I had the California turkey on focaccia bread with thick cut bacon. It comes with your choice of sides, chips, soup, salad, or chili. Next time I will try the BBQ ribs. The service was also great and it is a kid friendly place with chalkboard tables for your kids to draw on.

The food is so good... I am on my 3rd slider before sharing how amazing this meal is. Family run local business, amazing food... does it get much better?

Great casual place for good food, glass of wine or a craft draft beer.. Been a customer since they opened!

Sadly the smoked flavor on the brisket is the only reason i didn't give a 1 star. A can of pop was $5!
