As you all already know, coffee isn’t inexpensive these days, in fact quite the opposite! This is why it’s important to me that coffee shops get it right especially as someone that does non diary drinks. So I often will test out a place by ordering only a doppio (double espresso) and I’ll add some simple syrup or can sugar. I did so at Makeworth and I really enjoyed it. Meanwhile in enjoyed the vibes of their large and open space so much so I ordered a unique (a little “unusual”) fennel-vanilla latte. It was…pretty damn good! Also people were pleasant and looked to be enjoying making tasty drinks for folks like myself. I look forward to returning at some point.Dietary restrictions: Soy milk was an option along with other milk alternatives.

Cortado was good, it had some nutty fruity notes. The interior space is very comfortable and open. Love the windows!

Makeworth Coffee Roasters in Bellingham is an environment you’re naturally drawn to, much like a wild horse is drawn to the high plains of North America. It is a space where the mind & soul can gallop and make figurative horse noises free from the worry that characterizes modern day life., For that, I must rate Makeworth Coffee Roasters 5 out of 5 stars, and put this establishment in the top rank of my Bellingham Coffee roaster tier list.

There is always seating available which I appreciate, decent coffee and good service. wifi and restrooms for customers. Street parking usually available in the area.
I regularly came to Makeworth for two reasons: 1) the remote work vibes are perfect to jumpstart your morning. The music is never too loud, you can pretty much always get a table, and the wifi is good. 2) the breakfast tacos! It's rare to have an affordable gluten-free breakfast option that doesn't require a big upcharge for a smaller, more crumbly sandwich (I know GF bread costs way more, so places have no choice but to upcharge -- but that's why corn tortillas are the perfect solution!). I'm really disappointed they haven't made their way back since they streamlined the menu and have been trying out other spots around town, but haven't found another spot that has as productive vibes as Makeworth. Please bring back the tacos!

This coffee shop hits all the buckets- lots of indoor seating, wifi, beautiful design, and good coffee. Stopping in for an afternoon latte on a December Saturday, there were plenty of people enjoying their space spread on two levels. Service was efficient and I enjoyed my cinnamon roll latte. (It wasn’t overly sweet.)

Really nice and mellow atmosphere. Coffee is smooth and mellow as well, if a bit on the weak side. Their tea was better - particularly the oat London Fog.Unfortunately, no treats or baked goods are offered for vegan options. The only available plant-based food item is avocado toast ($9). Also, there is an upcharge for plant milk options (almond or oat). Hopefully, more local cafés will get with the program and begin to offer incentives for green choices rather than penalizing them.
