“Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.”

“I've been going to Amaro for years and it's consistently a solid choice. The ambience is perfect for gathering with friends or a date as it's easy to have a conservation without having to compete with loud music or tables that are too close together. The food prepared is well with quality ingredients and desserts are made in house. If you enjoy the traditional Italian preparation of calamari, this is one of the best renditions I've had outside of Italy. It's a starter, but I've occasionally ordered a double as an entree. Amaro is very accommodating with substitutions. Last night my friend didn't want risotto with her pollo arrosto, so they gave her a vegetable medley instead and it turned out beautifully. For a dinner house of this type, pricing is quite reasonable. The service is attentive and sincere, but often a little disjointed. They serve Caffe Vita, which is my favorite local roaster”

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.”

“While we unfortunately don't live in state and get to enjoy the stores in person, we have been purchasing from Zulus online for over 4 years now and we have always had a positive experience with them. This last order I had placed was no different on their end, had an issue with a pricey package being marked as delivered and misdelivered multiple times by UPS over the course of 2 weeks, back and forth getting nowhere and Zulus customer support was so helpful all along the way. Amazing communication, we had purchased the shipping insurance and they helped to get us a replacement order via Fedex, appreciate them so much through all of that. Keep kicking butt Zulus!”

I even brought them on a crosscountry plane for a picnic i was having with old college friends! I appreciate the regular menu (I always get a salted caramel), but I LOVE the rotating weekly flavors and designs! These macarons are a work of art...I'm not kidding, the special Derpy (K-PoP demon hunters character) macaron....well I bought 6: one for my and one each for my friends. One friend refused to eat it for over a week because it was too cute!! The drinks are delicious and the service from the owner and top notch.”

“I’ve come in sporadically over the past few weeks and I’m always blown away. Food is delicious, atmosphere is amazing, and service is outstanding. There is one waitress in particular that we absolutely adore - the taller mixed race girl (Kylee I think). She’s there every Sunday. She always greats us warmly and is honestly one of the best waiter's I’ve ever had. She brings the kids plates/utensils without being asked; she talks to our kids kindly, without any of that baby dumbed down talk. Even when it’s a full house and it’s hard to catch a waiters attention it’s like she knows what we need before we do. She remembers our orders and makes sure to talk to us as much as possible. And it seems she’s like that with every table (RARE TO FIND). I don’t ever write reviews. I just wanted to express our gratitude for the wonderful food and her outstanding and sweet service because we are moving out of state soon. You guys have a good one and better hold on to her TIGHTLY! 🥰

But tonight was special. Placing my order over the phone was exceptionally easy. I had a couple of things that were a little bit customized. I went and picked up my food and it was ready as expected. Every customization was perfect. And the kicker? The portions were a little bigger than usual.

The food was excellent, the chicken was tender with nice looking char lines from the grill. The gyoza was just the way I like it with the outside crispy and the inside juicy. The restaurant had condiments on the table including teriyaki sauce which I always appreciate. Overall great experience!”

It had a really good taste and is pretty authentic. The hot and sour soup was a perfect mix of sour and salty. The kungpao chicken is good too. Next week, I'll try the garlic chicken.

If your not sure what you want just as for a surprise blend,latte, lotus or what ever your in the mood for and I guarantee you that you won’t be disappointed. Roxy is amazing and has not gotten anything wrong with the surprises yet , very friendly ,beautiful and full of energy and knows how to carry on a conversation. Mama Bears drink prices are spot on and very competitive to Colorado prices. I absolutely recommend this coffee shop.

“I come here all the time and it never disappoints. The drinks are always made right, the staff is genuinely kind and efficient, and the whole experience feels personal even on busy mornings. It's rare to find a spot this consistent — 100% my favorite coffee stand around here.”

“I visit NW Espresso almost every morning, and it has truly become one of my favorite parts of the day. The coffee is always wonderful, but what stands out most is how kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming everyone who works there is. As someone a bit older, I’ll say all the different coffee drinks and names can be confusing, but the girls there are so patient in helping me find a drink that is absolutely perfect for my taste. Their knowledge of coffee is very impressive, and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. I believe two of the baristas are Miliana and Marissa, if I have their names right, and both are just lovely. They always greet me warmly, remember my order, and genuinely make each customer feel valued. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting the owner a few times, I am unsure of her name though, she is just the sweetest young woman who is personable, and clearly someone who cares very much about her business and customers. I do wish they expanded the snacks and treats to biscottis or scones, otherwise the muffin tops are very fresh.”

It never looks like my grandma's. Maybe I've been missing out on a lifetime's worth of cobbler! ********* They're telling me to that if you need desserts for Christmas but you don't wanna bake desserts for Christmas, ORDER THEIR'S FOR PICK-UP. Based on this cobbler, I'm making the recommendation that you do. My grandmother served peach cobbler every year for Christmas. We had southern Christmas and I had no idea that Pumpkin and sweet potato pies were considered Christmas pies until I was an adult. EZELL'S sells full and partial: cobblers and sweet potato pies.”

We usually split the Factoria Platter (best greek fries I have ever had) but have also enjoyed their gyros and falafel. I doubt there is any way you could go wrong with any of their dishes. The gentleman who runs the place is very kind to, and engaging with, my verbose kid. He even gives him special little treats and samples sometimes. Our server was Melissa and she was awesome, explained everything on our tray and helped us with deciding on what tea we may like to order. She checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed or if she could get us anything else. The owner also came out to introduce herself and assure we were enjoying ourselves. I will definitely be telling others about our experience and will recommend this venue. I will be back again.”

For the price and the length on waiting, the food for me was underwhelming. Granted we did have a larger party, but for a 30 dollar dish, I was left disappointed. It lacked flavor and the glam the description on the menu had built up.

The service is astoundingly wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing. The drinks are definitely on point. Over all, the staff and services are absolutely wonderful and worth the sit. “Chick-fil-A is always consistent and quality. The parking lot here is not the best, it is a bit on the small side, but that is Western Washington for you.

“Tia was our server and was very quick, attentive and friendly! She did a great job on keeping tabs on our table and did not let anything run out during service. She interacted very nicely with our 1.5 year old, and was engaging with my husband and I!

Michael and Marisol the managers were also great and touched the table a few times to check in. We’ve loved coming here on and off whenever we want to have a relaxing night out for dinner with lots of options for the family. We’ve gone in bigger groups and the service is just as fast and on point. Best location for sure!”

“A lovely coffee shop with a nice outdoor seating area for pets in downtown bothell. I can't do coffee so I have very particular about chai lattes and theirs was very good! Sat outside with my dog catching up with a friend for over an hour and had the best time. Use the parking garage across the street for convenient parking. For a sunday at 1:30pm it did take awhile to get our drinks but all else was good.”
