“Pool tables, shuffleboard bowling. Full bar and a kitchen. Come to meet the locals. I went on a Tuesday late afternoon, and there was hardly anyone there. I sat at the bar, there was a small group at a table behind me and 3 guys at the end of bar. So, this feels like a a workingman's Sports dive bar, for lack of a better description. The decor is ehhh. I mean, what you notice are the TVs, and the games, the pool tables the shuffle bowling, the broken pinball machine. Which I asked about, and the bartender said it was giving away free games so they shut it off. Oh Oh can I plug it in just for an hour please? The waitress/bartender was very nice and attentive. I asked what "The Thing" is here to eat. She said the Tacos, it's taco Tuesday today. "OK", said I "bring on the tacos!" She said I could have them hard or soft so I chose soft. Now, looking at some of these other reviews, it appears that the burger is probably "The Thing". The Tacos are NOT. I'm from LA, or have been for the last 40 years, and I have had great tacos in my time there. These were boring, just this side of tasteless. So maybe this place is jumping on a Friday night, maybe the Burgers are great. I was generally not impressed, and if the burgers are really the thing, don't steer us towards the terrible tacos. So here comes the score card: I start with 5 and deduct from there. Bland boring decor, OK, minus 1/2 star, Terrible Tacos, and compounded by the fact that they were recommended! OK, minus another 1/2 star. So, That leaves 4. OK, that's not too bad. If I'm ever there again, I will have the burger! BTW, if you enjoyed my review or found it useful funny or cool, please don't hesitate to click the little button to say so, or better yet, go ahead and friend me! “This is quite tasty pizza. We tried the pizzas that we probably couldn’t get at most places a.k.a. the Indian flavored pizzas. They were delicious, but I could’ve used even more Indian flavor. We tried that chicken tikka and butter chicken varieties and the chicken was beautifully flavored, and we loved the cilantro and bright flavors of the pizza. The crust was pretty good too. The small is the size of a one person pizza or so. We also tried the paneer pakoras but were not in those as much. Couldn’t taste the salty snap of the paneer. There are some interesting sodas from India, additional beverages, snacks available too. The space inside is big enough to dine in but parking is a bit tricky as it’s located around the block at the attached apartment building.“
“Heard about this place from a co-worker. He told me to call the order in because it would take a while, so I did and he was right. I called it in and they said 20 min. Got there and it took another 25 min. Didn't like that. I ordered the 3 piece chicken with the mojos. The chicken is pressured cooked and fried. It was delicious, the mojos needed a bit more crunchiness for me but they were good. The establishment is actually a bar and they had a live band the day I went so it was kinda loud. I recommend take out instead of dining in but I did go on a Friday. Give it a try you won't regret it.“
“Sports bar vibe. Pool tables and a couple of pinball machine and I think electric darts too. Bartenders were super fun and the locals that put up with me chatting and teasing (you know who you are Mr Bonjovi Karaoke!) made my day. Chicken wings nailed it and the Dragon style sauce was great, I didn't even touch the side of blue cheese when I scarfed them down. NOTE - They DO NOT have Karaoke! But other fun trivia and open mic night events“
“Places like this are genius. You order at a kiosk so it's perfect for introverts. The food is absolutely delicious. Their pho broth is scrumptious. Their pho tater tots and egg rolls are also yummy. I haven't figured out the beer situation there. It's apparently self-serve. This is place is also great to watch a game as they have HUGE TV's. Great for pre or post game eats.“
“Closest thing to NY pizza I've found on this coast. Slices are huge. I got a full pizza for fun last time, and it was so big I had to put it in the trunk of my car to get it home. It's great everytime I've gone. I've only ever gotten their slices of pizza because how can you turn those down. Good atmosphere. Can watch games on TV, play board games with friends, and enjoy delicious pizza.“
“My go-to veggie combo in town! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly fermented, nutritious and delicious.Vegetarian options: Their veggie combo is amazing. Delicious + nutritious Injera bread with 6-8 types of vegetarian dishes on top of it, greens, veggies and protein (beans), all cooked and spiced to perfection.Parking: Street parking only but free, more in the neighborhoodKid-friendliness: My kid loved it here. Booth seating is very comfortable for families. They have many kid friendly food options but he always asks for more Injerae!“
“I visited Golden Roosters with my kids today and ordered the fried soy sauce garlic chicken and teriyaki chicken sandwiches. I was so surprised and it was so delicious! It tastes like authentic Korean fried chicken and was so crispy and juicy. The coleslaw salad was also really good, and the atmosphere and the service of the staff were very good. ?“
“This place is great. Randy was our server, sweet, polite and attentive. We got our beverages, and our food, fast! It was busy and we didn't notice at all because the service was outstanding. My friend Brandon and I will definitely be returning very soon.*The walls are lined with TVS. Any sporting events? This is the jam. Everyone was SUPER polite and VERY proficient at what they do. I highly recommend this family owned Renton gem. Check it out for yourself, ask for Randy, she is a doll!“
“Tacos are very good and full English Breakfast during the Premier League early morning games AMAZING. English breakfast is served with HP sauce. Great drink selection, variety of nights including bingo, trivia, music video DJ. Only down side there’s a Manchester United flag on the wall ?“
“Action sports bar handled my sons wedding reception July 29!Great food great service and the attention to the detail was exceptional. Right down to having otter pops for the kids.I would highly recommend them for your next event!Truck is clean and very professional, our DJ was running late, Rushaad said no problem I got you and he had music going within seconds! They can do it all, if you have an event coming I encourage you to give them a call.“
“I love Max's triangle. Ashley is the best bartender in White Center! She makes the best martinis, and the owner has this secret recipe for pudding shots that's unmatched! The karaoke is badass, and you have to get the crispy chicken salad if you go for dinner. It is so clean and the vibe is low key and chill.“
“I found this place to be quite fun. The bartenders serve good drinks , by that I mean you get what you pay for. It is a freepore bar not machine fed. There was a lot of bikers that were hanging out there and they were friendly. It is an old bar but a clean one also. worth the trip to go eat and mingle with people.“
“As a Lacto-Ovo-Pesce-tarian, i was still able to find good options that were decent and enjoyable for a sports bar. The vibe is wood and metal and plenty of sports and screens, AND they play Sounders and other soccer games, which is what brought me there. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but neither is my 55 year old body! Good local beers to choose from. The Mexican Corn and Cheese dip was very good and came in a cast iron skillet. Blackened Salmon Sammy was good too.“
“One of the hidden gems of Columbia City. Their burgers are amazing -- well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I normally get the Reuben, which they also do very well. The wings are also very tasty. The wait-staff is universally friendly and the food comes out at a good pace. My son is right on the cusp of kids menus vs. adult menus and he loves their adult menu. We come so often the staff knows to bring him an adult menu! They have numerous TVs so if there is any game of note you wish to watch, it is almost always on. My only complaint is that they got rid of the waffle fries -- they will be missed.“
“Stimpy's is a great neighborhood bar with great food too. I've tried their pizzas, black and blue burger, fried mushrooms, and queso and they were all excellent. There are pool tables and one of the Touch Tunes music players. Plus, many televisions for sports. The times that I have been there the service has been decent too.“
“We had an excellent dining experience in here tonight with our two grandkids. The first person to greet us right away was a genuinely friendly young woman who seated us in a nice big round table. Our server was very prompt and had great server manners. The food was really fresh and plentiful, we left stuffed! As an extra bonus, as myself and my grandkids made our way back from the restroom, even the cook waved and smiled. Such a positive atmosphere. I think I'm going to want the waffles for breakfast, tomorrow!“
“We came here for lunch by accident because the place we tried to go closed. I ordered regular burger. It was actually good, the patty was little over cook. The buns held up pretty well and did not fall apart. The seasoning was just right. Mu side was tater toes, they gave your a lots. Water was self serve, but the server brought us hot water. The server was good. There are pool tables, darts boards, and many tables.“
“This place is fabulous!!! There was even karaoke and 2 of the ladies were both awesome!!! The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks were wonderful!!! The bartender was not only good looking but excellent! AND he was a terrific singer!!! All round great place to go!!!“
“"First Lady" is awesome and Frank is a great man. We were looking for a place to have a burger and watch the hockey game and found this bar. We walked in and we're greeted kindly. They had one hockey game on music playing. Then Frank came out, turned down the music and turned up the TV showing the hockey game. Then he proceeded to make a great burger and some awesome tots. Sorry we had to miss karaoke but we had to fly the next day so if you're in town and nearby check them out, they are a lot of fun.“
“Great restaurant and bar! Patio area is covered and dog-friendly making it a fun spot to hang out. Several TVs both indoors and outside to watch games. Food was delicious - green bean fries and chicken sandwich were great! Would definitely recommend visiting!“
“From the time you walk in the door the atmosphere is amazing the people are amazing and the food is even better. The staff was super nice to an ol southern boy from nc and I swear it was like 2 min from the time I ordered my food till the time it came out. Highly highly recommend and next time I'm in this state and area I will Def be back. Absolutely love it in here. Yall are amazing.“
“The rooms are very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The lobby, the library and reading area are very nice and well appointed. The staff are professional and very attentive. The windows open to let fresh sea air into the room. The whole club feels like you are indeed staying in a private, safe club. Hoping that the 3 food venues extend the hours later in the evening especially on the weekends. Once again, a very nice stay...the place to stay in Seattle.“
“The spicy chicken sandwich and baklava here is amazing. The meat being halal makes me love this place even more!!! Staff is kind and friendly and location is nice. I do wish the meat was a little thinner so the sandwich is less messy but it's tasty regardless.“
“Nice lil chill spot. We got wings, salad, and fish and chips. The wings and salad was awesome but the fish was from frozen so not the best. The people were friendly. Only 3 stars for service because it took a while for the bartender to take our order and it was kinda like she had to warm up to us and she did seem to be busy but she kinda kept serving everyone else their drinks before coming to us but it got a little better later on. They had a dj there that night that kept good music poppin all night. Will definitely go back when I’m in town!!“
“We had some friends in town and wanted to find a bar, watch games, play darts and pool if possible. I’ve lived in WS for 7 years and am ashamed I don’t go here more often. It had everything we were looking for! Great drinks, the place was spacious, plenty of tvs. I only tried a couple flavors of the wings and wasn’t a fan (I like crispy wings with fry rubs or sauces that don’t kill the texture) but maybe other things are good.Id highly recommend if you want to play pool, darts or pinball.“
“Food was generally spot on. Had a fried seafood mix: the cod and clam fritters seemed perfectly crunchy and fresh, the shrimp plump with a thin breading, the French fries were boiled before frying making their insides nice and soft, but the halibut seemed to be possibly not as fresh. The clam chowder was well balanced with larger chunks of clam. The dungeness crab bisque was tomatoey and good. The boiled clams were fresh and not sandy. The service was cordial and informative. The atmosphere was warm and our table had an amazing view of downtown Seattle!“
“We ended up at The Point because the place down the street could not accommodate our group. We made the brunch hours by 20 mins. We were surprise how food looks more restaurant quality than Pub foods. I got waffle with strawberry but it was not fresh strawberry or it was purée strawberry sauce. My group enjoyed their foods and drinks, sorry no pictures. You ordered at the bar and they bring you your foods. There is water station. The bartenders were friendly. We even played board games after our meals.“
