“Parking: There's parking out on the street. We were in oversized vans extra tall extra long. And if it wasn't a Monday we probably would not have found the parking very easily.”
“Live in Seattle. Thai by Wipa is the best Thai place I’ve been to yet in the US yet. Comparable to some I’ve had in Thailand. Second time here. Will make a point to stop here when in the area. The steamed fresh roll and Phad Thai are just amazing.”
“A small group of us visited (for our first time!) for my birthday breakfast. We anticipated that it would be busy and decided to show up right as the staff opened the doors. We promptly got a table and the server was cheerful and eager to answer our questions. I always appreciate recommendations, which she shared. We started with the honeycomb toast which was incredible. Then came the crab mac....that was also delicious!!! All the other dishes were well seasoned and thought out. I loved my crab eggs benedict!! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there!! We have each reminisced at how delicious the food and drinks were and are already planning another visit. Thank you Martini Brunch!”
“Amazing service they make sure to make your treats come out the way you like and make sure you don't leave without being satisfied. Super cute spot you can come in and sit or go to the park right next to place to enjoy your food. Will definitely come back again, even the husband loved it.”
“My two sets of grandparents, my parents, younger brother, boyfriend, and myself had a wonderful night last Sunday (4/14). Tony took excellent care of us, even taking a couple photos for us on the stairs to celebrate my grandparents' visit, and made sure our food was perfect, our drinks were full, and that we had everything we needed! Thank you so much for a wonderful end to their visit :)”
“Love everything here except the shrimp tacos are too dry for my tastes, but my girl likes them.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options galore.Kid-friendliness: Good. Kids candy and drink options.”
“Lots of vegan options, though there seems to be some confusion about eggs. For example, if you select the "build your own vegan poke bowl" option, "tomago" (sweet egg) and mayo-based sauces show up as available toppings. Other than that, we had a great experience. And nothing specifically labeled as vegan had eggs in it. (Like the vegan gyoza or ramen bowl.) The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was super friendly. Plus, there is an automated cotton candy machine on site. How often do you see that!”
“From the first time I ate here, it's become 1 of my top 5 go to's for amazing Americana fusion. Picture your grandma from the south joined the society: Les Dame d Escoffier, and has opened up a casual, modern and well styled cafe. I'm not a food critic, but I am critical of food. I love to cook and this place makes my mouth excited and satiates my hankerin' for tasty dishes. The staff is sweet, intelligent and friendly. The atmosphere is casual. Always good music, clean white tiles, ample plants and locally purposed (and made) wooden benches and tables. Come in your work duds, or in your nines. There's something for everyone here and you're going to like it. You might come back the next week, it's so dang good. Whether you want a big 'ol hearty dish, or something healthy, eat in or take out their sublime flavor combinations. Delish dishes with many ingredients sourced locally when in season. My favorites: Cubano sandwich, the spiced Cauliflower Wrap, beet and arugula salad, grilled tri-tip salad, any shrub and or soda.Check their hours first and the parking lot is small, but make it happen- you'll be hooked if you understand good food, with powerful intentions.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but they have lots of salads and vegetables, so just ask. They try to accommodate.”
“Very nice experience here. Easy too book a reservation online and there is street parking right in front. The prices are good and a ton of tea to choose from. They have soups, sandwiches, high tea experience, and lots of sweets. Highly recommend this place.”
“Decent burgers at a reasonable price. They are a takeout business, with a few picnics tables at the very back of the property. I’ve picked up food from here multiple times, and I haven’t been disappointed. Depending on the time, they can be quite busy and you might be waiting outside for a little while, so I recommend calling in your order. I will definitely be back.”
“The service and food were divine, diffently a hidden ? The interior is a bit cramped and the walls need to be cleaned. Cosmetic needs a deep clean is only reason I can't give it a 5 start rating.”
“They have been on my radar along with Railroad Pizza which I have to try next. Decided to try for a lunch date. They were busy! Good sign for a Tuesday. We were lucky and were sat right away. Our server was great, she didn't write anything down and remembered everything. Their alcoholic drinks are legit and tasty but a little pricey. I loved that they make a lot of shares in house. I got a side salad with honey mustard dressing and it came with a fresh warm roll, honestly that piece of bread was my favorite thing I had! ? I got the southwest veggie burger and you could tell they make their own patty, I liked it. Had a nice little crunch on the outside. The aoli complemented it perfectly. My partner got the fried oysters which he has never had before and loved. He also got the seared ahi tacos and they definitely don't skimp out on the tuna steak in those tacos! The ladies at the table next to us all got salads and they were huge and looked so good. We were both satisfied with our visit. Quick service, great food, nice atmosphere with cool brick walls. I would definitely come back but want to try the sister spot first!”
“We visited at the Tulip Festival Street Fair, so everything was outside. We got a plate with 4 different dishes. I liked 2 of them a lot, a third was decent, and one was meh. I'm sure it would've been amazing inside the restaurant with more control over food temp as well as order timing. The order came in chunks so there was a wait for the fried foods. Waiting for those meant not eating the order stuff while it was hot. Anyway. Street fair food isn't as great as controlled in a restaurant food.”
“Really good Pad Thai here! It's good a lot of sauce, and it was, indeed, pretty spicy, like they said. I got mine at medium heat, and it did taste spicier than that to me. I also had the thai iced tea, and it was also fairly nice, though maybe more ice than I expected. The only con I could think of was that the staff kinda forgot about my order for 30min, until I asked about it again; the food was prepared very shortly after I asked, though. Also, the number of seats is really low, so it's hard to do sit down (but yeah, it's a really low-key shop, so that makes sense). Overall, would love to come again, if I'm in town for the tulip festival again.”
“The food was delicious. Took us an hour to get our lunch though. Also pretty pricey.Vegetarian options: Their sweet potato burrito with eggs and black beans is delicious.”
“I have loved COA since it was by the high school. The food is absolutely TOP TIER. The quality is fabulous, and the portions are definitely enough for two meals. Service is always excellent! Definitely try the green sauce, it’s magical! My favorite order is the diabolo shrimp and steak- I do not know what is in the sauce but it makes me want to cry tears of happiness.”
“Excelkenty bakery with awesome breakfast & lunch sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. Super friendly service, casual, but comfortable ambiance. One of those little hole on the wall places you just have to share with others! Give them a try!”
“Amazing food with tremendous service! Go hungry because the portions are huge! Can easily split a meal. Cheap prices too. This is just the Mini Belly Buster and a Half order of biscuits and Gravy. The full Biscuits and Gravy is two of these massive biscuits. We still took home a 1/4 of the pancake and the biscuit”
“Best Banh Mi I've had in a LONG time! Super yummy! And the restaurant is very cute & in a cute location in Downtown Mount Vernon. I like that it has Pho Phridays - makes it feel like a small family kitchen atmosphere.”
“This food is AMAZING! If you know anything about anything related to the cuisine of Mexico, you will recognize that this is a star! The tamales were transcendent. The quesadilla redefines what that food should always be. I will make a special trip all the way from Seattle to come eat here again.”
“Really good food, prices are about average with most Italian restaurants in the county. The only downfall is they forgot to give me my salad since we did take out. Didn't notice till we got home.”
“OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me and my Mom went to get some super yummy tacos and the lady at the Food Truck location was really nice and the tacos were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? I would 1000000000000% get some food here again.Kid-friendliness: Very kind workers ”
“If you're looking for breakfast or lunch, this is one of the best options in Mount Vernon. The food is great, the staff is great and the overall experience is one that we enjoy regularly. This place comes with my highest recommendation.”
“Great atmosphere and good beer. Lovely place to gather. They have a good truck that will deliver to your table currently. Unfortunately closing at 8pm every night, even Fridays and Saturdays but still a wonderful place.”
“Very casual atmosphere and was pretty busy on a Saturday night as expected. The place was loud but you could still here the people at your table well. Food came out quick and delicious and the staff was super helpful!Vegetarian options: Custom pizza options offer lots of vegetarian options.”
“Best breakfast burrito in the greater Skagit area! I'm a bit of a breakfast burrito junkie and I full time RV so I've tried breakfast burritos from all over northwest Washington and this place makes the best one I've found hands down. Get the avocado sauce to go with it. Btw, I didn't see a breakfast burrito in their menu so just ask for it.”
“Amazing gifts in the gift shop and the bakery food is heavenly. Have loved everything tried there so far!! Staff very friendly and helpful.Parking: Parking full on weekend so a bit challenging but just wait for a few for someone to leave and then snag a parking spot.”
“Got a tempura roll here recently and let me say! One of the best rolls I've had since moving to Washington! So yummy. The service was very fast and friendly, and the location itself was very nice looking! 10/10 would eat here again”
“Absolutely delicious! I really love that they have a vegetarian Gyoza option and several plants based rolls, there is one with sweet potato in it that is my favorite. The vegetable tempura is lightly battered and airy. The Tamago is fluffy and sweet. It is a little pricey but most certainly worth the price.”
“This place is a great find on the way from WA to BC. Super good street tacos hidden in a gas station. Stopped here on the way to and from Canada because it was so ”
