“I love this hidden gem and will def be back! If you're looking for a relaxed and welcoming neighborhood spot with great food, this is it. The sushi was excellent. I got a Cali roll and something with salmon and cream cheese that was tempura fried (I forget the name), chefs kiss!! The owner and sushi chef were so nice and very personable, it made it feel really welcoming. They serve a wide variety of drinks (I saw margarita glasses) and are bringing karaoke back soon.“

Sushi Kaunta is the best sushi/sashimi that I’ve had in the PNW and is on par with the same quality/tastes that I’ve had from other similar restaurants in Asia. I came across the restaurant online and thankfully the owner was able to help me with a table for one. The owner is extremely nice and provides personable service. I had the chef’s choice nigiri and ordered two additional pieces off of the menu, every bite was fresh and extremely delicious. Highly recommended and I look forward to when I can come back again! “I've been eyeing this place since they opened. Finally had the opportunity to check it out. My wife and I ordered 6 items for take out. The fish for all the rolls were fresh and everything was tasty! I took a look at the interior when I picked up my food and man... it looks like a fancy sushi restaurant in Seattle! I'm a big fan and we'll be returning soon!!! Someone complained about them being "overpriced" they're probably used to eating gas station sushi for 4.99. the price for their food is very fair and it's 100Xs fresher. We stumbled on it during a day trip a couple of hours south of where we live, but we are absolutely making the trip back again and again because it's so worth it! “Visited Tomo for my 12 year old's birthday dinner. It was a great place for a multigenerational dinner with grandparents and aunts and uncles. Everyone shared a sushi boat with several rolls and pieces of nigiri and it was fantastic. The vegetarian sushi was also quite good. “First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!“

“The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“

“I've never done hibachi before, the chef and servers were so nice and funny, and the food was delicious. I will say I wish they put some fish sauce in the fried rice to really kick it up but the portions were so giant and yummy.Vegetarian options: They serve you many veggies and have a lot of options for vegan and vegetarian that are flavorful.Dietary restrictions: Everything is seperated and made to order, they can remove any sauce, any items, or cook yours seperately.Parking: We went there at 1 and for how many people were there, parking was plentiful.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu and I think a picky kid would do just fine here and have a lot of fun.Wheelchair accessibility: Other than getting up onto the sidewalk, the restaurant itself is open and the hibachi stations have plenty of space for a wheelchair.“

“I've been eating here for about 10 years. It's changed owners a few times. This new owner took over during Covid, she is one of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met. I typically get the regular chicken teriyaki and when they took over, they lowered the price to 12.99. (For reference, McDonald's meal is about 12.99... I much rather eat here!) the portion is large, if your are NOT a pig like me it's enough for 2 meals.“
