“We always get takeout and folks working are very nice and order is accurate. Spicy chicken and dark meat chicken teriyaki are my favorites. I get a full order or each which makes four meals for me, great value. Meat is cooked to perfection and we have been getting takeout for years. You need to try this place!!“

“Food was delicious, especially the soup dumplings and steamed buns. My husband and I especially enjoyed the pork short rib appetizer. Drinks were tasty, but a little spendy for the portion given. Luckily we sat at the bar so not too long of a wait.“

“My husband and I were visiting my brother and his wife for their wedding and decided to check the area for a good Asian spot. We were visiting from STL and our favorite STL Asian restaurant was also called Indo. We had to try. Of course this is not a chain, so we were curious how well the two compared. All I can say is wow. This place is ?? ‼️The flavors, ambiance, service, quality -- this will be a staple when we go back to visit for sure. Our recommendations would be the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl and Pork Belly Yakitori.Vegetarian options: Tofu, saladDietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free“

“I’m a regular at this place- always friendly folks, great food, and hearty portions. Like everything else- prices have doubled in the last couple of years but I’d rather spend $14 on chicken teriyaki with rice and salad or chicken yakisoba- enough for dinner and lunch the next day than the same amount for a burger and fries!“

“I always pass this place on my way to work but since that part of Kent is zombie land I avoid going to any business there. I am glad I took the chance and didn't let the tweeker in the parking lot deter me. The service was fast, place clean, and food delicious.“
“Boyfriend took me here. He absolutely loves Vietnamese food (he has spent some time there). I had a sandwich that was chock full of veggies and had so many layered tasted I was so pleasantly delighted. Very fresh ingredients and well made. Looking forward to coming back.“

“This is a small restaurant affixed to the Fred Meyer building. I visited J's during the early afternoon and was pleased to see that there were a handful of lunch specials.I ordered General Tso's and teriyaki chicken combo with white rice. The portion size was generous and the food was amazingly fresh and delicious. The Tso's was delightfully crunchy and actually spicy, while the teriyaki was perfectly seared. The hostess was very friendly and kind, and the overall environment was clean. I absolutely plan to return here soon.“

“Always open like their hours say and ALWAYS high quality teriyaki. It is My favorite Teriyaki place in south center/ Seattle area. When I first moved here many teriyaki places had poor quality consistently across the board or closed really early. Thanks you guys ?“

“We tried several dishes salmon phad thai, chicken green curry, chicken Kee-mao noodles, salmon tom kah, and tofu parang curry. The dishes were very flavorful. The only complaint was there wasn't much vegetables in the curry and soup dishes. The noodle dishes were spot on and very tasty. We would come back to try other dishes. Also another interesting thing was there is an option to get salmon, which was really great. Most places only have beef, chicken or pork, which is a nice surprise ?“

“Foodgasm! My favorite thing to do is to take the seaweed from either a Arashi or Shoyu ramen, take a whole piece of chashu pork or seasoned egg and wrap it, soak it in the broth a little, eat some noodles, and DIG IN! It is a bomb of flavor that mends very well with the broth. Try it! Tell me otherwise!.... Although! I was sad when they gave 1! Piece of seaweed when I ordered a Shoyu ramen with extra chashu pork and seasoned egg. I had to order more seaweed so that I can have my umami bomb! Coming back for more! The black garlic ramen sound interesting but I got to try the creamy veggie more than anything before the black garlic ramen. Till next time!“

“Called in a pick up order for Pad Se Ew beef level 3 + Basil fried rice w/ Pork Belly level 3 + Thai iced tea. Pork belly is not listed on the online menu so you have to ask for it. Food was ready quick and very flavorful. Pork belly is crispy and tender. Inside the restaurant is very clean and organized.“

“The place is clean and well-maintained. The staff is polite. The banh mi is over-priced compared to other Vietnamese Deli nearby but taste okay. They do not use Vietnamese mayonnaise so the taste is a bit off. I will pass on the banh mi in the future. The mochi donuts and blueberry turnovers are good. Their meat pies are absolutely DELICIOUS, especially the pork pie. I will definitely come back again for those. This place does well on their baked good and I would recommend.“

“My husband and I come here often and we've never had a bad experience. There's never been more than a ten minute wait for a table and the food always comes out fast! When ordering you mark a menu card and they bring out the different shareable dishes as they're ready and staff consistently clears away empty dishes and checks on your table. We always order a bit too much and end up overstuffed at the end of our meal, so I definitely recommend coming hungry!“

“This restaurant deserves way more recognition: it's one of the last places to stay open late at night in this area and the food was perfectly prepared. The staff were very kind and I'm sure they were quite tired. I would come back anytime.“

“The new owners have done an AMAZING job with the menu and food!! Lately it seems sushi has been small and underwhelming. I'm seriously impressed with the larger portions and quality at this hidden gem! Not only do they have teriyaki and sushi they also have Indian food! Although it was my first experience with such, I can't wait to go back! It was delicious!! There really is something for EVERYONE! Bonus the owners are super nice!“

“Has pineapple fried rice with tofu and phad ginger with tofu. Both were exceptional, since I enjoy a little spice with my food I ask for a side of chili oil, and was pleasantly surprised when the server brought out a tray with three separate containers on it, the first was crushed red peppers, the middle one was Thai chilli peppers, cut into 1/8 inch pieces soaking in oil, and the final one had your standard Thai chilli oil. The chilli oil was fairly standard, but the Thai chilli peppers were magnificent, a must try if you happen to enjoy a bit of spicy in your meal. Take my advice and start small with that one. The phad ginger was some of the best Thai food I have ever had, I could actually taste every vegetable, in every bite. This is a most visit place if you enjoy Thai cuisine, because this is some of the best.Vegetarian options: Almost every dish was offered with chicken, pork or tofu“

“The friendly service is very much appreciated. We had the pork bahn mi and vietnamese ham and Chinese bologna bahn mi. Both were tasty. We also shared a bowl of beef brisket phò. Disclaimer: My boyfriend makes some of the best phò I've ever had. Soooo, I'm kind of phó picky. The broth in this phò was very light. Missing the layers of flavor that I expetoence in my boyfriends phò. What looked like thai basil (forgive my naivete) had a peppery aroma that threw off the taste of the broth.“

“My husband got me takeout after I got home from day surgery yesterday. The food was good and fresh. I am removing a star because my husband tapped his card and somehow a 30% tip was added! Not cool. Generally we pay cash at restaurants and add a cash tip (18%) to the tip jar, but my husband used his last cash at the day surgery snack bar. We don’t ever use delivery services that charge restaurants 30% of their sales! I have read about ppl getting assigned high tips, but we had not experienced it until now. Beware!“

“I've lived in Federal Way for two years and tried all of the teriyaki places on this side of town. This one BY FAR is my favorite! 1) the service is great. The same gal has helped me the last two times I was there and she was very personable, polite and even remembered my son from the last time we got take out. 2) the food was great! My son loves the katsu and has gotten it both times we've been there. The katsu is crispy each time and healthy servings. My wife had the spicy chicken and loved it. I had the spicy Korean pork which was great. Neither of the spicy dishes were too spicy but definitely not mild. Again super healthy servings. Definitely going to be going back and if you haven't been there, what are you waiting for?!“

“Worth the drive. Menu selection is not as extensive as others but it's peppered with enough favorites at reasonable prices. I ordered the dinuguan with rice and tokwa baboy (tofu & pork) . Both had the right touch of sour especially the tokwa. Definitely better than Maxim.“

“This place is near the airport and the street is very chaotic and it’s shockingly pleasant when you come into this restaurant. They have really really good sound proofing and when you walk in the ambiance is peacefully wonderful. They have pleasant music playing at a low volume. A water fall. Nice warm lighting but sun shaded windows so you can see outside just fine but the sun dosn’t beat down on you. The colors and the art and the tables and seats are all very zen. It’s simply peaceful in here. The staff was friendly and the food was great. Definitely come check this place out if you’re in the area.“

“My wife and I just had lunch at this restaurant and were both very pleased. We were greeted immediately by a young man who was always smiling and whistling. We both got some egg noodle soups; I got combination and my wife got seafood. They were both delicious and very filling. I looked at other people's dishes and they looked good too! For the two of us, the bill was ~$30, which is reasonable for the amount of food we got. If you're considering, don't be intimidated by the authenticity - walk in and enjoy something!“

“I love this hidden gem and will def be back! If you're looking for a relaxed and welcoming neighborhood spot with great food, this is it. The sushi was excellent. I got a Cali roll and something with salmon and cream cheese that was tempura fried (I forget the name), chefs kiss!! The owner and sushi chef were so nice and very personable, it made it feel really welcoming. They serve a wide variety of drinks (I saw margarita glasses) and are bringing karaoke back soon.“
