“My favorite Happy Teriyaki Restaurant! I love their lunch bento special. Their sesame chicken is on point and their food always tastes fresh and delicious. They are also very quick and efficient with the time. I love eating their and getting their taro Boba as dessert!“

“Recommend, the chicken teriyaki is a go to for clean healthy food. (Chicken and rice.) Got the Gyoza and the Crab kampoon to try, very good the crab was extremely good. They also have punch cards, buy 9 plates and get one free. As well, they have Boba teas, lattes and sorts of variations of drink in the fridge.“
“This place is amazing! The food is great and at a good price. The lady behind the register, June, is a gem. The food is delicious and her customer service and friendly demeanor makes you want to keep coming back. She made us feel very welcome when we moved to Tacoma a few years back. I always recommend this place to people when they ask for good Chinese food.“
“It used to be one of my favorite restaurants however the service has gone way downhill. They say that they're vegetarian friendly restaurant but they refuse to put rice in a separate plate so it doesn't touch the meat. If you are a vegetarian or you have family members who are they are not respectful of people's vegetarian needs.“
“This teriyaki place is where it’s at! Perfect for pickup or delivery, so flavorful with generous portions. As far as the actual restaurant it feels pretty typical, nothing special in terms of sit-down. So I recommend taking it home and having for dinner/lunch the next day. I typically go with the spicy chicken breast teriyaki, with the kids meal for my son. Delish“
“My coworkers and I went to pick up lunch here one day when it was cold and rainy. While we were waiting the amazing lady brought us some hot soup and had us sit down to warm up. Reminded me of my grandma... love this place and I will definitely be back.“
“First time ordering here and I must say, it wasn’t what I expected but it was still pretty good.Customer service here was unmatched though.. I placed an order through Google and it was ready in 15 mins.The host (and I’m guessing a manager) were very kind when remedying my order after a mistake and even sent me on my way with an extra treat. Portions are huge.The woman working the front was extremely friendly and kind. “Ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Almond Chicken, and Shrimp Fried Rice. If you are looking for traditional Almond Chicken, this is not where you want to order from. It had veggies and a sauce more like teriyaki… so disappointed.? The chicken teriyaki was tender and cooked well. The shrimp fried rice was “fine”; nothing I would recommend. The total for this was just under $43 and no fortune cookies. Probably will not return…. Not bad just not what we were looking for.“

There are other businesses in the complex, and if busy, parking is harder to find. “The service here is great. Some idiot was blasting his phone inside the dining area, which I mentioned to the lady helping me and she asked him to turn it off. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful.The food was really good also (I got chicken fried rice), although it took much longer than comparable teriyaki places I've been to (it wasn't too busy).“
“Quick service. We came in on a Saturday night, & it was very mellow in there. By far the best japanese steakhouse we have been to, HUGE portions, delicious food, the chef was hilarious, & our server was so kind and helpful. Try the Punch, it was a hit with my husband. It may seem a bit pricey. But with how much food you get/the experience i would say its worth it. Were from eastern WA, & similar places charge just as much or more, & give you less food.“
“Sauce changed back to better sauce. It was fairly slow when I was there..... with that being said, I had hot food in front of me in 10 mins flat. From the the time I came through the door, was seated, cold water delivered, and hot chicken and beef teriyaki shortly after......10 mins!! Outstanding!! (And I was starving, so I sure did appreciate it). Don't let me forget to mention it was delicious...“

“My experience was really good! I placed a pickup order for 1 spicy chicken teriyaki with rice and it was ready within 10 minutes of placing the call! The food was also super cheap compared to Teriyaki places more North of Tacoma! It was under $13 for a HUGE portion of white rice and chicken that was hot and ready (also super yummy and saucy)! So good I had to look at it in the car.“

The cashier is very friendly and an excellent multitasker. She was taking orders, setting out food for to go orders/mobile orders, and constantly answering the phone. She definitely stayed busy but never made any customers wait to be helped. My food was ready in 10-15 minutes and was actually ready faster than my partner’s food from a restaurant next door.It was quiet when I entered and picked up shortly after (it was about 4:30 PM). It was nice to see a good amount of foot traffic in a small restaurant. And yet it never got loud or rowdy.I ordered the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combo plate. It was exactly as you expect and hope for from chicken teriyaki.“
