“This place nails it! I came here with my mom and we were both hoping to remember the food in Japan while we lived there. We had the beef udon and the okinomiyaki. Beef Udon came out in a huge bowl amply filled with thinly sliced beef, fresh vegetables and perfect chewy noodles. The broth was very flavorful and they had a big bowl of togarashi spice to flavor it up as you want! Order yourself an okinomiyaki right when you get in the door. It’s big enough to split or share for a party of four and it takes 20 minutes to make. It is hands down the most authentic, delicious okinomiyaki I’ve had anywhere outside of Japan. If you find a better one out here, anywhere, let me know because I want to go! Atmosphere is quiet and dim, good place for a weekend morning, especially if you need to take care of yourself after a late night out. This is the type of place that has the proprietors wedding photo in her Japanese formal wear on the wall. Go!“
“Was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Food was great and staff are friendly. Love the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. I also love that they stay open late. After a certain time in the night they no longer let you dine in (understandably) but you can take your order to go!“
“Amazing Sushi Spot in Federal Way!??Not only are the sushi, rolls, and poke bowls delicious, but the service is also fantasitc! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommended for sushi lovers! ?“
“I literally cannot stop thinking of Nami Sushi when I'm craving Japanese food. This is definitely my go to spot now after coming 3 separate times. My favorite dish has to be their Monkey Brain appetizer. It's a beautiful example of how fried sushi should be (lightly!). Their rolls and nigiri are on point. The udon is amazing, but I prefer the tempura udon. Their tempura is out of this world. Overall it's just way better quality here!Vegetarian options: Avocado roll, cucumber roll, seaweed salad, tofu, tamago,“
“I’m a regular at this place- always friendly folks, great food, and hearty portions. Like everything else- prices have doubled in the last couple of years but I’d rather spend $14 on chicken teriyaki with rice and salad or chicken yakisoba- enough for dinner and lunch the next day than the same amount for a burger and fries!“
“The great service extended beyond just the food, including the staff and management. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, adding greatly to the experience. Every aspect has been taken into account for how it effects customer satisfaction.“
“The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“
“I don't think I've ever left a review here but their pork donburi had me in such a chokehold I have to come here all the time until I finally moved away. I'm coming up to visit my son for spring break and I will definitely be getting a dish to take home.“
“This place is a gem for Filipino food! I usually get the chicken adobo and it's SO good. The meat falls off the bone and you get a nice portion for UNDER $10 WITH rice. Rice isn't extra. They have various options for they lumpia as well! I can't have too much red meat so I usually get the ginger garlic and it's absolutely delicious. They're pretty nice with the sauce as well. if you really like it they have it bottled! The ONLY complaint I have is I wish I could get a little more sauce with the adobo but the rice just absorbs like all of it but that's just a preference really. You have to order online but check out is simple and easy! If you love Filipino food I highly recommend!“
“This was hands down THEEE best sushi I have ever had. I been to a lot of places even in different states and this is simply the best out of all of them. The service was good and the atmosphere was good as well just a bit small but worth it. Thank you to the sushi chef that made my food, your the first one to nearly make me cry after just one bite of a roll!!!“
