Visited this place for a birthday dinner and found a nice happening spot. Got there a little after 5 and there were not many people, by the time we left after 6 the place was packed. Had the special of the day which featured three pan seared scallops and coconut crusted prawns. Scallops were a little on the small size, but for the price of the meal it was well worth it. This is now one of my favorite places to grab a special meal, and it is a real treasure!This is a small cafe/bistro with less than a dozen tables, currently open for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and an occasional Sunday if they have an event. I recently dined at Griffin and Wells Cafe and I was thoroughly impressed! The cuisine is authentic and absolutely delicious. The in-house specials are a must-try, and the server was knowledgeable about dishes I hadn't heard of before. The new ownership has done an amazing job creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Local residents should definitely give them a try - you won't be disappointed!
