“Went here for a birthday dinner and had a nice time! Cocktails were great, food was good, service was warm and welcoming. We got the ribeye special, the Dungeness crab mac and cheese, a house salad and the lemon creme brulee. Dessert was by far our favorite part, followed closely by the old fashioned I had before dinner.Thanks for making it a special evening!”

“We tried FishMongers for the first time based on other reviews and they were spot on. The smoked clam chowder was delicious and I think probably the best chowder I’ve had. The fish plate was also excellent and came with way more than we expected. It fed two adults. My daughter also loved the kids fish and chips. It came with goldfish and some fruit snacks which were a really great touch. I always appreciate it when restaurants add a little something extra for kids. We will definitely be back.”

“The sandwiches are amazing. I don't like onions and I get the regular sandwich with grilled onions and it's delicious everytime. The customer service is always good. I've never had a bad experience here. There is only outside seating or to go orders so that is something to keep in mind.”

“This food is REALLY good. Ocean Park is lucky to have Sierra's place. "The Bomb" is just that. The burgers are somehow just as good. The Texas and Garlic Chicken egg rolls are dangerously good!The service may be slow, but that is because they are BUSY and rightfully so. You won't be disappointed.”

“This was our second time visiting the Lost Roo and our experience was absolutely spot on. We dined on a weekday around 5 pm and were seated quickly at a nice window table. Our server was Rachel and she promptly got our drinks and took our order. We each had a cup of chowder and shared an order of fish and chips. To say Rachel and kitchen were on it would be an understatement. We were amazed at how quickly our meal arrived and the fish and chips were hot and perfectly cooked. The place continued to fill up as we enjoyed our meal so keep in mind they do not take reservations. Thank you Rachel and the staff at the Lost Roo for your outstanding service.”

“Absolutely love this bakery. Their tres leches is my boyfriend's favorite and they have a variety of treats to checkout. The service is great and they are always so welcoming and attentive. I like how relaxed it is inside and the set up of all the baked goods is everything. I 100% recommend coming here if you haven't.”

“We ordered the halibut tacos and carne asada tacos along with a side of beans. It was delicious - the flavors were so great. The owner was very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her. She makes all the pickled veggie toppings which were also super tasty. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.”

“Ate here 25 years ago and had not been in since. This go around I brought my 4 children and wife. The place looks exactly the same. The smell of the food is too good to be described. The server was top notch and accomodated our large family with exemplary service. She even hung a picture my son had colored her. Our food was awesome. Literally the best food we had on our trip. If you have yet to dine here we urge you to do so.”

“Kudos on an outstanding apple fritter. (!) Not oily at all. Moist and bready on the inside, lightly crunchy on the outside. Tasted wonderfully fresh. More than the usual apple flavor too. Really made us take notice. Maple bar was nice too. Even the thermos of self-serve coffee ($2.50 for 12oz cup) was pretty decent on its own (and nicely hot), but it really went well with the apple fritter and maple bar. Would happily return when visiting the area again.”

The clam chowder is one of the best I've ever eaten, my husband loved the smoked salmon alfredo and the fish-n-chips is good too! They are very sweet and accommodating for little ones. Very family friendly! This place is our favorite beach restaurant.”

“Superb! The most delicious burger we have eaten in a while. Beautiful and tasty ahi tuna. Oyster shots - can’t even describe, you must try them yourself. And the cherry on top - nice decor and clean restrooms. Overall we didn’t expect this level of service and food quality at the small seaside town. It was a nice surprise. Can’t recommend more.”

It’s a great vibe here, easily a must for a stop on the peninsula.As a side note, whoever is in charge of tap selection, you need an award for having root beer on tap. “This was by far the best salad I have gotten on the Peninsula! And it wasn't even all there. I have a dairy allergy so I ate it dry (dressing has dairy) and it was still amazing. “My wife and I stopped in here yesterday on the way back to Seattle. I was starving. Super nice girl to our order and gave us a buzzer. A few minutes later and I was really happy with my burrito.First of all she hooked my wife up with a vegetarian burrito, but mine was crazy. Roasted pork, rice all kinds of stuff. And they're adult-sized.They had a red roasted adobo salsa with a good bite, but not too hot. The other was a roasted tomatillo salsa. Both were nice, thick and came with limes. For like twenty odd bucks or something. We are them in the parking lot and my wife was zonked out the whole way home. Thing put her in a coma. :)By far the best quality food I've ever had in Long Beach. Nothing else is even close. I'll keep coming back to town after all.Long Beach aught to be renamed the Taco Shack in appreciation for moving there and sharing such good food. Please don't move away.”

“We enjoyed are time at the South Jetty. Was camping at Fort Steven's and was looking for a place to watch the Sea Hawks game. Service was great and friendly. Food that I seen coming from the kitchen looked great. We got some Beer a Bloody Mary and Onion rings. Bloody Mary was awesome!”

The cod and chips was some of the best I have ever had, and I order it everywhere I go. The chowder is good and thick. The fries with chowder were amazing. The fries themselves are super tasty.This is now a must stop every time I come to Long Beach.”
