Not sure if they accidentally gave me egg rolls instead of lumpia, but I definitely wanted lumpia. The "lumpia" filling was all cabbage with microscopic pieces of beef spread thinly thoughout. The pho broth was flavorless (where's the star anise, the clove, cardamom??) and tasted like it had been sitting in a cardboard container. I only got 3-4 basil leaves for a large, so I couldn't even salvage it. The rice noodles were pasty. Super disappointed after reading such good reviews.

When this restaurant first opened up, it really was the best pho around. I hadn't been here in over a year since I've moved out of the area, and decided to place an order. To my dismay, the pho broth does NOT have the same flavor/taste as before. I'm not sure if the cook or recipe has changed, but it was not good. I took 4 bites and that was it for me. I really felt as if I had literally thrown away my money which lead me to write this review. The owner and her family are the friendliest people but when I went this past time the owner was not there and neither was the quality. I give this restaurant a 5 star because I know what they are capable of.

I wish I could give zero stars to this restaurant and order Pad Thai had no chicken and hat white a shell in my food and it was so soggy noodles was so tasteless. I ordered a beef spicy noodle and I got pork instead in my religion I cannot eat pork now I have to brush my teeth and try to see if I could throw up so I can get it out my stomach. I can not get all pork out off my my stomach. I pay $30 for 2 dishes I wish I could take pictures before I through away all the food.

We walked in on a Saturday for lunch. The place was empty and the staff was indifferent to us walking in. It's not the cleanest restaurant, but we decided to stick it out and ordered a basil chicken and a chicken vermicelli noodle bowl. The basil chicken came out first and the chicken was dry and rubbery and the vegetables were still a little cold. The noodle bowl was an underwhelming and had a lot of "fibers" in it. They looked like white hairs, but they insisted they were from a scotch bright. I'm not sure that was any better than hairs, though...

Flavor: AwfulSetting: DecentPortions: LargeCustomer Service: FairOrdered my go-to Phad see ew and Phad thai it tasted like literal card board. Dry & bland. Thai food is my favorite and I cook it myself. I was so disappointed that I had to re-cook it, which was a big bummer.

I love Thai food and have been meaning to try Boonmar for a long time now. I finally went there today and ordered Pad See Ew for takeout. I walked in a few minutes before noon and the place was empty (Covid-related, I would bet), so I placed my order and it was brought out about 5 minutes later. I got it home and dug in. It was really good - veggies were plentiful and fresh, noodles were soft and properly cookedn, and the sauce was good and not overbearing. All in all, it was a good experience and I will have to go back and try other dishes! Give them a shot!!

Really wanted to like this place as it's conveniently located right next to Trader Joe's but the drunken noodle (pad kee mao) is way too Americanized (AKA way too sweet) to the point I don't recognize it anymore. It's no where close to the spicy and savory dish I get at other Thai restaurants in this county, yet so probably the worst pad kee mao I've ever had. I should've known better when I see broccoli and so much carrots as the authentic Thai version uses Chinese kale. Sigh... Also the white meat chicken in the noodle dish is not marinated and tasted dry and bland, it was just so bad I picked them out and left it on the plate. The only saving grace is the Pho although still on the sweeter side and portion is small even for a large the broth is at least clean tasting. So I'd say if you like your "authentic" Asian food super sweet go to Boonmar, you won't be disappointed.

Pad se ew was pretty good and The Thai iced tea was very large.

Underwhelming at best. The tom yum very sweet and not very good since shrimp option wasn't on the temporary menu, the chicken tasted freezer burned, and the vegetables were not cooked at all, which was strange because they brought it out 5 minutes before our curry rice dish. The rice was okay, but my husband said it tasted just like his school cafeteria's version of fried rice. Maybe we came on a bad night, but probably will never return. We'll stick to our regular spot..

This spot has Perfect portion sizes. The food is very tasty as well. Staff was very friendly and checked in on us multiple times throughout our time there. There were also lots of vegetarian options which is always nice.

Food was good but the place is filthy, which outweighs the taste.

my husband and i were in the mood for pad Thai and pho so we stopped in to give this place a try...we ordered steak pho, crispy chicken, tofu pad Thai, red curry, and egg rolls. the egg rolls are ehh not the best, the pho was not great (meat was dry and tough, and noddles were soggy and not typical pho noddles) crispy chicken was okay, red curry was good and pad Thai was good but the inside of my tofu was cold (noodles again were not typical pad Thai noodles) not to mention the dishes were DIRTY and greasy with crusted crumbs of food...we already have Thai and Vietnamese restaurants we love so we will not be coming back. i wouldn't recommend this place because the dishes were gross, the food was mediocre and the prices are high...

The food was really good and the portions were quite large! There are only two reasons why I didn't give them 5 stars - first, they used a thinner noodle for the Pad Thai and it was a little weird, but tasted fine (no big deal), and second, we asked for 2 stars and there was no noticeable spice at all. I guess we'll try ordering 3 stars and see how spicy that is.
