“Come to this no-frills restaurant for authentic Peruvian cuisine! My Peruvian friends give this restaurant the stamp of approval for its authenticity and variety. Portions are large. Ceviche and roasted chicken are highlights of the menu. They also make their own canchitas (cracked corn). The dining room is large and airy, in a converted car showroom. There is usually a Peruvian version of MTV on in the background. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes.Parking: Parking lot with angled parking is located to the left of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available“
“I am Puerto Rican and I found this place accidentally to change the food and find something similar to my Island, my favorite dish is the lomo saltado and after I tried it I went three times in a row for the same dish. The music they play is mostly Puerto Rican singers, Latin Dominicans, among others (Salsa, Merengue, etc.) El Pique has become one of my favorite places and I visit it often, I feel like I'm in (466 Isabela or Piñones) alone. those from PR will understand me. Tasty food and pleasant place to eat, Brenda is very attentive to her diners, tremendous service from her.“
“Just finished here. Came in for a late breakfast/early lunch. We had never had Peruvian food before and asked for recommendations. The waitress suggested a seafood sampler. It was all good. Especially the ceviche. Very tart and delicious. Went well with the corn and potato. I had the bistake with fries, bananas and eggs. Fried eggs on white rice. It was all very good. The surprising thing was the rice. It was simple and the perfect texture. Just like my dad did growing up. Only thing was the atmosphere. Music was a little loud for an old guy like me in the morning. But she kindly turned it down when we asked. I'm not in the area much but look forward to coming back.“
