“We four had dinner and drinks; two among our party live nearby and are regulars. I really enjoyed the Bibimbap I ordered with beer!BEER/WINE: 4.0. Good selection of beers, and limited but decent wines. We were all satisfied with our choices of beers and wines.FOOD: 4.0.- Bibimbap: 4.5. A real standout and I will order again. I hadn't had Bibimbap this good since living in Hawaii and Guam. I chose to have with Tofu, though beef is also available. Especially good with a cold beer.- Sashimi: 3.5. The Japanese person in our group rated her DELUXE DINNER as quite good for previously-frozen fish, and says she would order it again. I ordered one tako sashimi and would rate it a 2.5; in future I won't order individual sashimi.SERVICE: 3.5. Enthusiastic and accurate.AMBIANCE: 4.0. Indoor and some outdoor seating. It became quite full by 6pm on the Friday we visited (with a full parking lot), but never got so noisy that we couldn't easily carry on a conversation.“

Ambience is perfect. and Games are awesome. You can build some great team party memories here. Foozball, Pinball, Darts, Pool table - Everything was great! Loved this place. We're going to have every single party at this place now. The only issue was they don't have many vegetarian options. 5 stars from me. “I've avoided this place due to some of the negative Yelp reviews, but after realizing the food is from Pogacha I figured I'd give it a shot. And I'm really glad I did! First off, the service was great. I entered the restaurant hesitantly thinking I'd leave if the vibe was off, but was immediately welcomed by the bartender once I stepped through the door which I wasn't expecting. I then thought I'd just grab a beer and looked for a beer menu, which is on a display near the bar with 20 beers. Granted, most are $8 except for a few which are less, but that's not too crazy. At this point I decided I was all in and ordered food. I knew I wanted some of the Pogacha bread which they make fresh, so I ordered a sandwich which was great. The bartender even confirmed details of my order to ensure she got it right. The regulars were friendly on a Sunday afternoon which was a random but welcomed. I've heard they have an awesome patio which I look forward to visiting this summer!“

When we turned back onto 2nd Ave, we walked past Collins Pub and took a look at their menu and decided to stop in. We ordered clam and corn chowder -delicious!!! - and with Rebecca’s help, my husband ordered the burger and I had the house salad. We were very pleased with both dishes. The house salad was huge and the burger was the best he’s had in a very long time!! Wish we had found this spot earlier in our stay instead of on the last day!!!! “Disappointing that to get additional drinks after being served our meal always seems to be a challenge. 1 drink prior to meal, 1 maybe when meal is served, but anything further you have to flag down wait staff - often not your assigned wait staff to get their attention. “There was a small group of us who'd gone in for trivia night. It's a funky little place with a scattering of tables in the front, pool tables towards the back (which are irrelevant for trivia night, of course), and benches on either side of the pool tables. Fortunately, we'd gotten there early enough to secure a nice table that fit all 6 of us comfortably.Reasonable selection of draught beers and a full bar. I got the Jellyfish IPA, which I hadn't had before. It's a local west coast-style IPA that was pretty good. I covered some of my friends' drinks across the evening (we traded off throughout the evening), and when I got the final bill at the end of the night, the bill seemed outrageously low. I felt bad, so I padded the bill with a good tip. FYI, the folks working behind the bar were so nice! They remembered me each time I went up to the counter and addressed me by name. It was a nice touch.Trivia night was so much fun! Our team didn't do exceptionally well, but we're going to have to come back and try again!“

“Take food that exceeds all of your expectations and add the perfect hole in the wall atmosphere and you have the Pacific in pub down next to the water and close to everything (I was visiting the Fremont troll on that day which is only a couple of blocks away)... For over a year I had a co-worker telling me that it was the best fish and chips anywhere in the greater Seattle area. That is actually saying a lot, because one, this is Seattle and we are the world capital of fish and chips, and two, he was an Uber driver for many years and would snack just about anywhere... Guaranteed. I will be back in the very, very near future. One of the most unique fish batters absolutely highlighted this amazing fresh fish and there is a reason that they are famous for their fish and chips. I fell in love not only with the seriously cool hole in the wall atmosphere of the plates, but both of the staff personnel that I had talked to were people that I wanted to go and hang out with. Love this place, love the food, love the location, love the atmosphere, love the people. You have got to go ... And on a trivia and- Anthony Bourdain visited this place and absolutely swore by it“

We came in around 10PM and she was so kind, attentive, and personable. All the cocktails were amazing, and I can see from the way she and the other bartender (whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately) were both amazing with service, skill, and professionalism. There was also a sense of friendliness and although the bar was slow when we were there (about 6ish people?), there was still a really lovely atmosphere fostered by the two working in how they engaged with customers and made sure everyone was taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough. Also I’m so sorry if I got the name wrong, I was busy salivating over the amazing drinks she made.“

“I've been coming to Fiddler's since before I'd even moved to Seattle, nearly 20 years ago. In fact, it was one of the criteria that I used to pick the house I ultimately purchased (that my abode would have a pub within walking distance). It's a funky place, having been in constant use as a pub since 1934. The acoustics are terrible when there are a lot of folks in the pub or a band playing. And the clients varies from the crusty old-timers who've been coming in for decades opposite the millennial crowd who've moved in locally and have adopted it as their neighborhood pub. Still, I love the place, and although it's not as frequent a haunt for me as it once was, I still enjoy the occasional visit. This afternoon, my girlfriend and I met my parents for a some brews and food. There is no longer table service; clients need to go to the counter to order beer and food. We ordered a round of beers--they have 10 rotating taps, often with beer from the PNW--and food. Since it was mid-afternoon and we were already reasonably full from lunch, my girlfriend and I opted for the Firehouse nachos for the table (the Firehouse nachos have been on the menu at Fiddlers as long as I can remember). They were yummy, as always, and a great complement to our beers. My dad ordered the SCBLT (Smoked Chicken BLT), one of his favorites, and my mom the Big Papa Baked Potato, which she almost always orders. We all really enjoyed the food. There was a miscommunication with our order, and the server brought the meal of the day, the Beef Stroganoff Baked Potato, instead of the Big Papa as my mom had wanted. My mom really didn't want the special. The waiter was accommodating and made sure my mom had the correct order. All interchanges were pleasant, as has always been the case at the Fiddler. Hoping to continue being a regular patron at Fiddler's for the next 20 years!“

“Coziest neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot. One of those snug spots built into an old house with mismatched coffee cups and famous potatoes that makes you feel at home. -1 star only because aside from their potatoes, a lot of their food isn't well seasoned so always have to ask for salt and hot sauce to be safe, but their drinks are stellar and they have NA options too!! Note: I prefer 4 star spots in general bc 5 star spots are typically overrated, so this is a 5 star in that sense!!!! Their menu isn't overwhelming and has seasonal items. Always happy to come back.“

“Absolutely wonderful experience. I did a paint night here. It's a self-serving tap, which I had never heard of. The beer pours perfect every time, very little head. You can fill it yourself. Staff was really great. I was doing a paint night there, and accidentally put my brush in my beer, and they promptly comped it. I would highly recommend this place.“

“Welcoming barkeep, regulars, enough screens for sporting variety, pool table if you need. No menu worth mentioning (one of those regionally famous minimalist bars in this regard) but you can bring in your own food from nearby spots; frequently someone orders delivery pizza, tip your bartender accordingly!!“

“I'm giving the food a 3 because when we got there the kitchen was closed...for new years...I guess I understand but it's also new years, could've made more money had it been open not to mention the 10 dollar entry fee to try and use the overcrowded overlook they have of the city . The drinks though, that's where they shine. My girlfriend had the dark and stormy drink (she very rarely drinks) and she absolutely loved it! I had the rosemary gin and tonic and although it's a simple drink it was absolutely the best I've had in a while. Will be going back when I'm in town and definitely putting rosemary in my drinks from now on?“

“The rooms are very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The lobby, the library and reading area are very nice and well appointed. The staff are professional and very attentive. The windows open to let fresh sea air into the room. The whole club feels like you are indeed staying in a private, safe club. Hoping that the 3 food venues extend the hours later in the evening especially on the weekends. Once again, a very nice stay...the place to stay in Seattle.“

“We've eaten at the Savage Moose twice now, and each time we have really enjoyed the experience because of the great service and mostly because of the food. This time I had the fish and chips (hand battered cod, and lightly battered french fries) and my sister had the bacon cheese burger with potato salad. On our previous visit we had the poutine (this could use some extra cheese curds, to be honest), and got a club sandwich and a philly dip sandwich to go (I have to say the food is MUCH better eaten in-house). One of the outstanding things about their menu is its real house-made foods, made to order, using fresh real ingredients. The Savage Moose isn't much to look at from the outside, and the seating isn't luxurious or fabulous, but the food is honestly really good. It's a really great little local place that we are very glad we took a chance on.“

“Great dining experience. Service was not super fast but was on par with “European Style”, they don’t rush you and want you to enjoy your food. The servers were friendly and helpful. Beer selection is solid, including a nice selection of drafts. Had the Jägerschnitzel and the Käsespätzle with the mushroom gravy. Both dishes were very good and for a German restaurant in the US, I’d place them pretty highly. They’re changing up their weekend dining to accommodate a brunch, if you show up between 1pm and 3pm, there is no real food available, only French fries or pretzels, as the kitchen is changing over. I lived in Germany for four years, I consider this a good find and will be coming back.“

“Living in the area, I've passed by this bar countless times but never had the opportunity to visit until St. Patty's Day. I finally decided to give it a try, and it was a blast! They featured live music, tap, and sean nós dancing, along with outdoor seating arrangements. Despite the busy day, the service was exceptional and attentive. A fantastic neighborhood bar indeed!“
