Value for Money 3.5/5I recently visited "The Sweet Side" to order a cake for my friend's birthday and decided to try their cupcakes as well. I must say, the peanut butter chocolate flavored cake was a revelation - easily one of the best cakes we've ever had! It was perfectly moist, rich in flavor, and the peanut butter was not overpowering, but just right. It's a solid 100/100 from me for the cake!From a price point of view, it might seem a bit on the higher side, but considering the exceptional flavor and taste, I believe it's worth every penny. It's not just about the cake; it's about the experience and the joy it brings, and "The Sweet Side" definitely delivers on that front.If you're in search of a cake that will not just satisfy your sweet tooth but also leave a lasting impression, I highly recommend checking out "The Sweet Side". Their cupcakes are also worth a try - fluffy, moist, and just the right amount of sweetness.Overall, a fantastic experience and I'll definitely be returning for more of their sweet treats!

I wish this place was better for the price you pay. $18 for 6 macaroons and a weak latte ($6) later, I was looking forward to a little treat, but phew, what a let down. The lemon macaroon tasted like the filling was taken right out of a tin can. Very metallic tasting. The others were okay. My favorite though was the raspberry and carmel. The ambiance is nice and if the product was a bit better or the prices reflected accordingly then 4 or 5 stars for sure.

Super cute shop! I’m not a big sweets person but I became obsessed with their lemon bars lol my bf had their peanut butter brownie and was amazed how awesome it was. I appreciate they offer dairy alternatives for their drinks too.
The carrot cake’s icing tasted like plain butter. Very disappointing. The cake mixture itself was okay, but something needs to be done about the buttercream frosting.

Their cake slices and their macarons are good, though on the pricier side. Not a fan of their coffee as it was bitter.

We stopped here after walking our dogs around area on Saturday morning. The evening before, we had shared a chocolate tuxedo cake slice from Safeway which was soft, creamy & delicious. We expected something similar from this bakery. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We tried 2 cake slices - raspberry filling cake and s’mores cake slice. The frosting on both slices was stiff and flavorless. The cake and raspberry filling was good. The s’mores cake was not worth tasting - again very stiff frosting including the filling. It tasted like eating hardened butter. We will not return to this bakery.

Everything is delicious from the macaroons to the cheesecake to the lemon bars to the s’mores cake. The chocolate chip cookies are what keep me coming back though

I love this cozy new place. I meet my colleagues here for coffee and to talk research and they leave you alone. The staff are very friendly and really sweet - though understaffed. The macrons look amazing!I usually order the 16oz cappuccino. But make sure to tell them to warm up the cup with hot water first if you like it piping hot.

Horrible macarons. They should call it meringue instead. The pink one is supposed to be passion fruit, had vanilla filling and in the middle it had the passion fruit jelly, nothing else of it tasted like passion fruit ?. Hard pass! People love the flowers outside though!
