“High quality inventory made with love. The owners had a vision when they designed both the exterior and interior; their good taste is evident. Everything is pristine clean. I like their greeting cards and Tea Pig tea that they stock. All their baked goods: delish! Tiramisu Overnight Oats: the Best! Glad you are here.“

“Karl's has been around forever! They made my wedding cake in 1975! I still stop in whenever I get to Everett. They have the best custard filled donuts I've ever had (my absolute favorite), and the raspberry bars are to die for. Sooo yummy!! I've always had good service there, good coffee, killer donuts. The only place I'll ever buy custard filled anymore“

“Catalyst Cafe is INCREDIBLE, and fills a desperately needed space in our community. Their coffee is great and they have a fantastic menu with options for everyone. And I do mean everyone - LOTS of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options, rather than one or two lone options. They have vegan cheese, a wide selection of gluten free bagels and baked goods, and also have “regular” food for folks without dietary restrictions. Most of my friends have some sort of dietary restriction (and I can’t eat dairy to my dismay), yet we can all get delicious food here and not be stuck with one option. They can also substitute gluten/dairy-free and vegan options into “regular” options as well. The staff are all amazing as well! Food and coffee aside, Catalyst is quickly becoming a cornerstone for the local LGBT2QIA+ population. It’s truly rare to have a queer space that doesn’t revolve around alcohol or romance. Catalyst has a meeting space that can be reserved, a Little Free Library, zines, and pamphlets for community resources. It’s a safe space for queer adults and youth alike! I never thought I’d find such a place. On Saturday, my partner and I ran into a friend and ended up chatting a while. Two complete strangers asked if they could join in our political conversation, and we ended up chatting for an hour more. It was incredible, especially in Snohomish County. At the time of this review, Catalyst is still in its first year of operation. They are starting to have regular events, I can’t wait to see how it grows! I truly can’t recommend Catalyst enough.“

“Oh so glad this place opened! It’s a pretty cafe, where you can work /do your own thing with the aesthetics. We ordered a Strawberry and cream latte decaf and a strawberry oatmeal cookie. Both were SO delicious. Definitely coming here often.“

“I was just inside to purchase a breakfast sandwich, and while waiting to order, a customer in the drive thru was shouting at the baristas, and then another customer in line. I was even more horrified to find out that this was not the first time he has done this! A barista told me that this customer has thrown a bagel at her for not being toasted correctly! I was also told that the owner still allows this guy to come back because he’s a “paying customer.” Everyone behind the counter seemed very use to this type of behavior from that guy. This is completely unacceptable in my eyes, and as a former barista myself, I would expect my managers to stand up for their employees. No one deserves to be treated like this! So even though I still recommend this place, the owner needs to do a better job at protecting the baristas!“

“I recently moved to Lake Stevens and was looking for new coffee stands to go to in the area when I found this place. It’s such a cute stand and the girl working was so nice! My latte was delicious. I’ll definitely be a new regular customer!“
