“I spent my 49th birthday here with friends. We enjoyed the soft couches with lemon drops and an Old Fashioned. Recently I had the pleasure of spending time with the owner of this establishment - he is one of the best. He is friendly and genuinely cares about the community, his employees, and customers. “I was just inside to purchase a breakfast sandwich, and while waiting to order, a customer in the drive thru was shouting at the baristas, and then another customer in line. I was even more horrified to find out that this was not the first time he has done this! A barista told me that this customer has thrown a bagel at her for not being toasted correctly! I was also told that the owner still allows this guy to come back because he’s a “paying customer.” Everyone behind the counter seemed very use to this type of behavior from that guy. This is completely unacceptable in my eyes, and as a former barista myself, I would expect my managers to stand up for their employees. No one deserves to be treated like this! So even though I still recommend this place, the owner needs to do a better job at protecting the baristas!“

This left us wondering if these folks are being held captive, unable to know about the troubles of the world?Unfortunately this "secret" little gem is no longer ...secret.
