“Where to start? The place was crowded so had to wait..their wait time texting app was informative and time flew by. The staff was friendly and upbeat. The happy service was timely, for the island, and the meals were outstanding. Our friends opted for lunch and the scrumptious looking Rueben sandwiches...wow, loaded with meat. We decided to try breakfast, wife had "the mash" which was tasty, ample and filling. I wanted to experiment on something unusual...and had "the nasty"...what a treat and so much food. The chicken, yes chicken, was done to perfection, with one of the best and crispiest coatings. The biscuit and sausage gravy were top tier. Oh yes, they served strong, robust, and hot coffee...worth the cost. This was a very positive experience...and we are going back.“
“This was our second visit here and both occassions were simply wonderful! The food could not be fresher or more inventive, we loved every single dish. Highlights included scallop tartare, duck confit tortellini, roasted radishes, and chicory salad. Wine pairings were also perfect. We sat at the chef's counter this time and really enjoyed watching them work; service was excellent! It's a cozy, lively space where you will need to be friendly with neighboring diners, which was totally OK by us. One thing to note is that the menu has really increased in size/length since our last visit ~1 year ago. Last time we left feeling full, but not overly so. This time there were many more small dishes and we were quite stuffed by the end- come hungry! We felt like 1-2 meat dishes at the end could have been dropped and it would have been perfect. I suspect someone complained about portion size (as someone always does) and they unfortunately responded by adding more and heavier dishes, rather unnecessarily. Still overall a fantastic experience, we can't wait to return!“
“Was staying on Whidbey Island for just the weekend and had this cafe recommended by a friend. I had breakfast here twice. The food is incredible and so is the service. The latte literally made me say out loud “Now that’s a damn good latte!” And I always thought a latte is a latte, it tastes good or okay. Nope, this one blew my mind! Changed my perspective on good coffee. My favorite thing about this cafe though was that there were soo many staff. More staff than small cafes and restaurants normally have. Therefore everything was so quick and the employees were so laid back, relaxed, talking and laughing and obviously enjoying their jobs and their lives. It really made the whole homey atmosphere more comfortable and enjoyable. 10/10 would come to this cafe every single time I visit this island.“
“We've had better meals here in the past. Mainly, the kitchen needs a good taster, as the textures were nice, but flavors didn't work. The blackened shrimp tacos had nice large tasty shrimp, but the main flavor was pepper. The coleslaw side looked gorgeous, but had almost no flavor at all - was mainly cabbage and oil, with a few herbs.“
“The restaurant works wonderfully to provide a fantastic bistro experience—the food selection is well curated and the individual dishes are excellent, wine and bar selection excellent, the service is friendly and quick, and the location yields many tables with views. Can’t wait for warmer weather to try the patio too. Great restaurant you shouldn’t miss. The town is charming and worth soaking in its history and charm.“
“My wife and I can’t in 6 minutes before they close. After debating with the man from the register he finally convinced us to order. My wife and i felt so bad but he urged us to order. Man oh man is this food fresh and I’m just so happy because we didn’t know what time they closed, literally just leaving the dog park. We just appreciate the customer service and how fresh this food is. Thank you.“
“Everything about this place is top notch. The food is the best you will find in Mukilteo or greater Muk/everett area. The service is above and beyond. We've been in before and the servers and other employees remember us and treat us like family. Little details are noticed and the ease and comfort of the restaurant keeps me coming back.“
“Dined there for the first time a couple of Sundays ago with a friend. We had craft cocktails and shared several menu items for maximum taste testing! Our favorites: The crab/scallop cake appetizer was nice and meaty and cooked to perfection! The seafood linguini not only had a nice variety of seafood, but the sauce was very tasty - not a bland Alfredo sauce like some seafood pastas. And the piece de resistance was the Blood Orange Lime Curd Tart with a raspberry sauce! Everything was excellent, including the service!“
“I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My husband and I split a reuben.. The food was incredible, the staff was great, the locals sitting next to us were super friendly and the atmosphere sitting outside with a little tea pot for my hot tea was the best. I was in Washington for a week and it may have been my favorite moment.“
“Cabernets and IPAs is a gem! The variety of wines and craft beers is impressive, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing time. The knowledgeable staff adds to the overall great experience. A wonderful spot for wine and beer enthusiasts!“
“This place is amazing. In my trip I had the luxury of Cierra as my waitress, the term waitress is used loosely as she knew the menu perfectly and had the most amazing customer service. The food was brought out quickly and everything was done exactly as ordered. I recommend trying this place and if your lucky enough to get Cierra as the person who takes care of you, even better.“
“I stopped in with my son for son quick lunch. Ordered the PB&J burger . Absolutely delicious. Will definitely order again. The fries have a perfect crisp crunch and melts in your mouth. Enjoy the foods. Staff was friendly and quick.“
“This is my second time that I have been here, unique burger joint. I believe the owners work in the kitchen/register although I haven't asked, very nice people. There are a few seats at the counter you can still dine in at once you pick up your order, and the main dining is closed off maybe due to all the coke memorabilia.Back to the food, it was as delicious as it was last time. I had the Deluxe Burger without onions (cheese, special sauce, tomatoes and pickles), absolutely delicious sauce and burger even though normally I prefer a bit thicker of a patty. I remember the fries last time were amazing, however, this time I didn't get them, nice crunch. I would recommend to anyone to stop here for a burger, chicken patty, fry or shake, you won't regret it!“
“Very small , well designed and decorated cozy restaurant with lovely water views only if you arrive by 4pm or are lucky enough to grab a window you will not be disappointed. The other small room is very special too.The salmon with wild rice was prepared to perfection. Both the generous sized Ceasar salad and greens salad were wonderful. The panecotta with fresh strawberries for dessert was a delightful ending to an excellent meal.Finally.The service was great.Highly recommend .Wheelchair accessibility: No problem .Bathroom is accessible too.“
