“Bantaba is our favorite Gambian restaurant in the area. When my husband is feeling home sick it brings him right back to where he needs to feel better. We just had them cater for our daughter’s first birthday party and it was an absolute hit! Our guests loved the food and are now planning on going to their restaurant for take out dinners. Bantaba had amazing customer service and came in early just to make our order on time for the party and everything was fairly priced! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back soon!“
“We happened to be in on a holiday and were the only table in the restaurant for a bit, and I’m shocked it wasn’t full! The food was flavorful and hearty. Our whole family, including three kids, ate from the veggie and meat sampler platters until we were stuffed. Our host was so kind and brought us extra injera and water any time we needed it. Highly recommend!“
“I had never had Ghanaian food before trying Blackstar Kebabs, so I have no basis for comparison. But I do know what good food tastes like and Blackstar is really good! The plantains are crunchy and sweet and the kebabs have the perfect amount of char. The jollof was nicely seasoned (and not over-seasoned). The service was friendly and the food was good; I will definitely go back.“
“Wow. The waitress was SO kind, she explained everything with patience and checked in on me a few times while I ate. The food was incredible. It took a bit of time to make, I could tell when it hit my table it was fresh and well spiced. The taste was incredible. Ask for the spicy sauce it will blow your mind and your mouth. The hibiscus drink is not too sweet which really hit for me. EAT HERE. GO OUT OF YOUR WAYY TO EAT HERE.GIVE THEM TIME TO MAKE YOUR FOOD ITS WORTH THE WAIT.Parking: 2 hour max spots across the way“
