“Vegetarian here. Mercer Island is lucky with this new addition! I love the Veggie KBBQ especially. I really appreciate they are using oyster mushrooms over crimini. They're soo nice with the samjang. My other favorite is the Kimchi Grilled Cheese. I don't ever want a grilled cheese without kimchi anymore. The place looks great, and the people are super friendly. Solid beer choices and too many cocktails to count. The best thing is that there are still plenty of items left on the menu for me to try out, that doesn't happen often as a vegetarian!”

I’m really glad Haps reopened, as it’s a true Mercer Island treasure. That said, the fries I just had, which used to be great, were some of the worst I’ve ever had. They tasted like someone had just microwaved a batch that had been made hours ago. I really hope this is a one-off experience.”

The matcha croissant here is absolutely divine! I arrived a bit early and had to wait for them to be fresh, but it was worth it. The latte was also excellent. If you're a matcha fan, this is a must-try!”

“This is our go-to comfort food spot for chicken satay, massamun curry, and a coconut milk Thai iced tea. We’ve been coming here for 30 years after karate and driver’s ed and half days and for celebrations and on rainy days and lunches with my grandmother. I hope Pon Proem is here forever! It’s always a special treat in our family, even now that my own daughter is grown. ❤️

“This is by far my favorite Starbucks on the island! It’s the smallest and not as modern as the one across the street, but it’s the fastest and the friendliest. The parking isn’t the best, but we’re lucky enough to walk here often. Even though it’s a bit simpler, the service makes it totally worth it!”

“It's very quick for a lot of food and the service here is beyond excellent. I was honestly surprised with how nice the staff is here. I was indecisive with how much of an amazing selection they have since they have a lot of options but I definitely recommend anything with chicken. Their noodles were also excellent. I ended up getting this to-go and there was so much food that I had some leftovers for the following day which was still great.”
