UPDATED MARCH 2024Well, folks, this is still a wonderful place to procure your specialty meats and fresh or smoked salmon, plus all the other nifty proteins in the refrigerated case.This most recent visit we picked up some filet mignons, stupidly overcooked them a bit, but the meat was still wonderful and tender.Then we had to have some bacon. Let me warn you, if you like to leisurely cook bacon for a crowd by putting it in the oven on a rack in a sheet pan, your house will take on the irresistible aroma of a smokehouse full of bacon! Your breakfast guests will then be lucky if you save a piece for them. Really tasty, thick, salty but not too salty bacon. Still fantastic, all around!2023 Review:For everything from a weeknight burger to a wedding dinner, these folks have what you want for sublime and celebratory meals! We've tried their candied salmon, their fresh salmon, the burgers, and most recently a whomping huge tenderloin of beef for a holiday meal. Everything we've enjoyed so much! The beef tenderloin roast is hands down a new fave. The way it was trimmed and dressed allowed us to concentrate on how we wanted to cook and serve it. We never even had to sharpen our knives to trim off silverskin or gristle. It was ready done. Once cooked, that meat was so buttery tender it was amazing. Well worth the splurge!

Went to this Newcastle location when visiting friends in the area, outstanding quality of meats available and great customer service as well! We picked up a half pound each of the candy smoked salmon, turkey jerky and beef jerky thick cut pepper and some bacon as well.

Super nice and above and beyond helpful staff. They have a goos fresh seafood selection (cod, many types of salmon, prawns, etc). Their salmon candy is so good my out-of-state relatives always ask to visit this place to get their salmon fix.

Just tried the, "Darn delicious chili mix" with 2lb of the ground chuck per the staff recommendation it was super easy to make and tasted fantastic! The only changes I made to the instructions on the back were adding two fresh on the vine tomatoes as opposed to the optional, tomato sauce and or paste etc it was a very easy, practical and ultimately quick to make recipe totaling approx 30 to 40min (no bean soaking or prep) of mostly just low covered simmering after simple and easy beef cooking and draining Etc. Would most certainly highly recommend! PS. Suggestions and brainstorming: Next time, along with the fresh on the vine tomatoes, I might also add chopped red onion, sweet mini peppers, and brown sugar. You definitely pay a premium for this service though, I spent ~$19/lb on choice grade plate short ribs, which is more than double the same grade and cut of $8/lb at tukwila's costco. Came out great when smoking, but meat quality was roughly the same imo.I'd come back if I couldn't find a specific cut of meat, but I think the value isn't quite there as a frequent meat eater.

Our go-to local butcher. Staff is super knowledgeable and caring. They are true professionals. They’ll deliver any requested cuts of meat. The quality of selection is top notch. Pork shoulder here is the kind you want to throw in that smoker and proudly serve to your family and friends. Fantastic beverage roster too - craft brews, local ciders, and throwback sodas!

They have a wide range of meats and seafood and are super knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. They're so nice and welcoming and I highly, highly recommend them. They also have niche flavors of hard ciders and beers, I seriously cannot sing their praises enough, this place is awesome ?

Stellar a service here. These guys know what they do and can answer a lot of questions. A few of our favorites:1/3lb burger patties Bacon (plain and peppered) Bacon ends and pieces Andouille sausage Polish sausage Salmon dipCandied salmon dipSmoked salmonYou have so much to choose from. Great quality steaks, pork chops, marinated meats, cheese, Wagyu, and even things like tendon in their freezer section. They have a great selection of wine and beers too. We stopped buying them due to dietary restrictions but the meatballs in the freezer are freaking delicious. So tender and flavorful, highly recommend. We also love to get their potato salad when we don't feel like making it ourselves. The marinated meats make for a great option for a weeknight meal with minimal prep. Honestly, there isn't anything here I haven't enjoyed. There steaks are on the higher end price but there are a lot of affordable options here.
