“Love it here, the food is great and passes by you on a moving countertop. Just grab and eat. Also the Salmon!! It's fried and delicious. I get 1 for here and 3 to go. Taste bud city!!Kid-friendliness: If your child eats sushi then it's kid friendly if not get them the chicken teriyaki and enjoy.“
“Tried it on a whim. The food was delicious!!!!! I had beef short ribswhich came with steamed rice and salad. Gyoza appetizer. Everything was very tasty. (I don't understand the other reviews that state that the food was tasteless... it's NOT! ) The portion size was a little small but probably all I actually needed lol.Yes, the building is old and when they've been in business long enough to upgrade I'm sure they will.Don't let that deter you. Nor the fact that it's not in a new part of town. If it was, I'd lay bets their parking lot would be full All.The. Time..“
“The food is very good! I got very full, yet I wanted more. They've got many dishes, appetizers, ect. that are good. Also a quiet and comfortable place to be at.Recommend this place for people that want yummy food. It's to die for.“
“Our new go to! Had the Tonkatsu ramen, Tomi Roll, miso soup, and seared pepper tuna. We ended the meal with the mochi ball with whipped cream… holy moly! We absolutely loved the atmosphere and food! The char sui pork in the ramen was delicious and we will be back!“
“Really good sushi, especially for coming on a food truck. Everything tasted very fresh and not fishy smell and i ordered raw rolls. The food came out super fast too. My only gripe is they don't have soy paper, so if you don't like seaweed you are SOL. I prefer soy paper as i can taste the fish more. Also just as a note, this is in the food truck area of the HUB. Took me a minute to find it when i just used google maps.“
“I think the best sushi around. Also, there is a happy hour menu until 5:30.Features: Servers wore masks. Only one if three sushi chefs wore an effective mask. Seating at the sushi bar was distanced. Some table seating was distanced.Vegetarian options: There are rolls without fish or meat. Also you can get vegetable centered dishes.“
“The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and they had high chairs so my granddaughter was able to sit easily by the table with us. The doors are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair and there are tables available to wheel right up easily. Next time we are in the area, we will visit again.“
“Before my husband & I could walk in with our baby in her car seat, the waiter met us at the door to open it for us. Not only that, he accommodated our baby’s car seat at our seating area for us to be comfortable, without asking. The waiter was attentive & kind. We had exceptional customer service by Gabriel! Thank you!!! We definitely will be back, food was good too!“
“Took my family of 8 on a Sun. night. I called just 30 minutes before to ask for a table and was promptly reserved one. We come from CA and I lived in Japan for some time so we definitely knew our fish. The menu was extensive but more importantly the sequence of food came out in proper order. When we ordered additional appetizers, our love boat order was delayed to come out after. This may seem simple and mundane but you'd be surprised some restaurants just serve whatever is made when it's made. There's a clear order how food should come out so that diners can best enjoy them. Our server was courteous and helpful. He made sure we knew the miso soups would come with some of our items so that we wouldn't over order. He also brought ice to cool down the soups for my kids without me prompting. Very thoughtful and thorough. We were the last party to leave the restaurant at closing time. I had to wait 30 minutes for my ride. They offered me to stay inside the restaurant even though all the servers have left except the two who closed up after me.The uni and ikura are fresh, even fresher than some expensive CA restaurants. All other items are also good. Some stand outs are the octopus appetizer, takoyaki, salmon skin salad, yellowtail in ponzu, rainbow roll, and udon soup. Miso soup was light which I loved. Some restaurants in the US overdo miso soups making them salty and heavy. White miso soup is meant to be light. Shiki got it right. No real wasabi though but that's a hard one to get. We'd definitely visit again when we're in the area. My two kiddos give big thumbs up.“
“We came here for a birthday party with a party of 12 and it was fantastic. The Yakitori was great, the crowd was split on the soft shell crab for appetizers. The spicy tuna roll, Nikko Hako, and No. 12 rolls were fantastic. The Nikko Hako won by a bit for overall flavor. The chicken teriyaki and chicken fried rice were a huge hit as well with the kids and we both sold on coming back. They also liked the kids drink menu. The Tuna Sashimi was probably the crown jewel of the night, we could have had half a dozen pieces each. Service and owner were also great to work with and everyone had a good experience.“
