“Food Upstanding, chefs were informative and friendly, it was an easy day for them so I had the privilege to enjoy a nice talk with them. The waitress was so nice and informative as well. I bought a bottle of 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain.I also had a couple of glasses of Cab. Sauv. Walla Walla and it was also good.By the way, I know nothing about wine but I drink wine often and I do know what I like and what I don't like.“

“The wine maker, Justin Michaud, was so accommodating n pleasant. I appreciated his politeness and also the discussion about the wine. He took our bawdy humor well. I didn't taste many wines as I was driving. But the few I tasted were very good n I bought the LOL blend.“

“We had the place to ourselves on a July Friday at 11:45. While I'm sure they wished they had more business, we appreciated the quiet environment to taste wines. There were two women working and both were friendly and our server was attentive. She checked in on us several times, shared information about wines and the area, and was personable. Now for the wines--I didn't taste a wine I didn't like. I got the mixed flight ($15) and husband got the red flight ($20). We tasted what each other got. Everything was very smooth and palatable. We purchased the top three we liked (the PG-V, the Spaniard, the Tempranillo) and a fourth bottle (The Teacher) that we didn't get to try but had high marks. Because we purchased four bottles, our tastings were comped. Thurston Wolfe definitely offers sold wines at a reasonable price. Would return to this tasting room for sure.“

“Recently married a couple from our church, and after the wedding ceremony, the reception was at Desert Wind Winery. We had the large back reception hall, all to ourselves. It was a very luxurious, well kept, clean, spacious place for this event. We had a great visit, and got to meet one of the owners while there, great smile and conversation.100% Recommend this place for any large group event!
