“This has been our new go-to takeout spot since moving to South Hill. I've loved the crispy garlic chicken & crispy garlic beef - they both reheat well for leftovers! The small soup portion is a perfect size (egg drop was delicious!) Great website for online ordering & food is always ready quick. It's hard not to order on a weekly basis :)“
“The tofu Pad Thai is excellent, and they will make it spicy after they confirm you know what you're asking for. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quick service, but it does take a minute to get your food. This isn't a bad thing since you know it's made fresh.“
“They are open on Sundays which is so great for when you don't want to cook. We have visited here twice now, and have enjoyed both times. I love that they also have an online ordering system for those who don't like making calls or just like putting an order in visually. The gal at the front is so nice and always packs our order perfectly.“
“SO GOOD AND FRESH! I went here with my sis recently. She had the fried rice with crab and I had fried tofu and papaya salad. Rare to see such good quality food in Auburn. They are really nice friendly and accomodating as well. Will be returning soon for dinner.Dietary restrictions: vegan and vegetarian options“
“We were fans of La Fandita in Proctor. We’re pleased that the quality of Ruca’s food retains the same high standard. It is a joy to find Willie at his new digs, doing what he does best, serving great food, in a welcoming neighborhood. We’ll be back, with friends, to savor the many delights of Ruca Restaurant on McKinley Ave.“
“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!“
“I'm from Louisiana and got the smothered catfish and was really happy. My spouse got the Cajun Pho and our 3 year old got the chicken nuggets with fries and they were both happy, too! The fries were even Cajun fries! Excited to go back and try more things! Great spot!“
“I’m a regular at this place- always friendly folks, great food, and hearty portions. Like everything else- prices have doubled in the last couple of years but I’d rather spend $14 on chicken teriyaki with rice and salad or chicken yakisoba- enough for dinner and lunch the next day than the same amount for a burger and fries!“
“The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“
“There’s no way for me to express my gratitude enough, tamu and her team are amazing and responsive. Hire them for all your catering needs. They offer the best east african dishes in WA in my opinion. I miss Ugandan food and ordering from them reminds me of our local food.“
“This place is a gem for Filipino food! I usually get the chicken adobo and it's SO good. The meat falls off the bone and you get a nice portion for UNDER $10 WITH rice. Rice isn't extra. They have various options for they lumpia as well! I can't have too much red meat so I usually get the ginger garlic and it's absolutely delicious. They're pretty nice with the sauce as well. if you really like it they have it bottled! The ONLY complaint I have is I wish I could get a little more sauce with the adobo but the rice just absorbs like all of it but that's just a preference really. You have to order online but check out is simple and easy! If you love Filipino food I highly recommend!“
“Pork fried rice tonight was exceptional! The cook left the celery and onion with a little bit of crunch to it instead of cooking it until it was soft which was fabulous. Sweet and sour pork was great as was the cashew chicken which had perfectly cooked vegetables. Yum! Generous portions with their delivery. Have been my go-to place for Chinese delivery for a couple of years now.“
“We Were Amazed!Hungry and a long drive ahead of us, hit up google and jumped off the freeway, found Happy Teriyaki but had our doubts due to the area. Our waitress quickly brought us drinks and took our order. She was so very nice.In no time, she returned with a feast fit for a king.Portion size was incredible and better yet, the flavors were incredible. With every bite, we would comment on how good the food was!We highly recommend Happy Teriyaki in Tacoma. If we lived near Tacoma, it would be our go-to dining spot!100% ?“
“I love trappers!!! Constantly most amazing fresh colorful Sushi!!! We went with family and did Sushi bar, it felt very personalized Sushi experience!!! Thanks to our awesome Chef Q, Chef Ramon & Chef Mag!!!Vegetarian options: Vegan options also!!!“
“The cashier is very friendly, sweet and quick. There was never a time I ordered and I was disappointed. They are consistent with taste and delivery is fairly quick.Parking: The parking lot is shared by multiple stores in the area. Not once have I witnessed it packed. It's a place where people live in the area so the majority of people can walk.Kid-friendliness: It's not one time I walked in this place and recognized kids never came up for air. Their order must have been fulfilling.“
“It was my first visit with friends familiar with and know the owner. It seemed unassuming the wet rainy night we went-WHAT A SURPRISE, the interior is spacious, clean and nicely done. The food was GREAT and with fast friendly staff it all came together. I like to push my food knowledge and try new, different things and this is a place to go! Thank you to my friends for sharing their secrets....“
“My wife and I have been going here for years. We have brought lots of friends and family over the years to Trappers. This last time we were there was so disgusting that we were going to walk out. the iced tea was so weak that it looked like dirty water that you could see through. We ordered our normal. We were sitting in the bar and could see the counter when the food was placed there. It set there for 12 minutes before our server brought it to us. Off and on for the whole 12 minutes the door greeter kept going over and leaning over and running his hands through his hair over our food. When they finally brought it to us we asked for a manager. We were not going to eat this after watching what happened. She was a young girl with attitude. She never said sorry for what had happened. After a few minutes with talking with her she offered to remake our dinner and give us a discount. We accepted and the food was just okay. We did not pay for the iced tea and we just drink water. It will probably be a long time before we come back after our experience.“
“I've lived in Federal Way for two years and tried all of the teriyaki places on this side of town. This one BY FAR is my favorite! 1) the service is great. The same gal has helped me the last two times I was there and she was very personable, polite and even remembered my son from the last time we got take out. 2) the food was great! My son loves the katsu and has gotten it both times we've been there. The katsu is crispy each time and healthy servings. My wife had the spicy chicken and loved it. I had the spicy Korean pork which was great. Neither of the spicy dishes were too spicy but definitely not mild. Again super healthy servings. Definitely going to be going back and if you haven't been there, what are you waiting for?!“
“Best Teriyaki in western Washington, the chicken breast is juicy and gilled to perfection never dry, the sauce is robust and not runny, 10/10 wont eat Teriyaki from anywhere else anymore the only negative is a very small parking lot that has limited access during high traffic “
“It was a very quiet and relaxing night when we were there. Customer service was very excellent, and the waiter would come by our table often to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything else. Food was great as always.Kid-friendliness: Kids will have their own menu to choose food from (ex. Tempura roll, chicken teriyaki), booster seats if needed. Also, crayons to do some activities on the menu.“
“Food was good. Waiter was amazing ans vibes was awesome. They have drink and they do mocktails! Pad Thai isn't great but they mango fried rice was awesome. They are open for a couple hours in the afternoon and closed again then open for dinner. Group of 4 or more, make a reservation if possible. We have a group of 8. Will come again for the vegan options they had.“
“So happy to say that the conveyer belt sushi is back!! We came around 7pm on a weekday and the place was not too busy. Regardless, the sushi stayed fresh because the chef stayed on top of it. The food was delicious! They have appetizers, tons of fantastic sushi, and sides and desserts. I LOVE the variety of conveyer belt sushi and am ecstatic for one to be in my area. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the whole restaurant is very well kept and modern.“
“Had special combo chicken teriyaki and mongolian beef.I just gave 4 stars because I felt like the combo needed more rice for the price.I finished the rice and I still had plenty of meat left. The chicken seems grilled and added with teriyaki sauce, pretty good and not dry.The mongolian beef was better and had more flavor with tender beef. Very slight spice and just right seasoning.Overall it was very good just needs more rice, its cheap so adding a bit more will help improve customer experience. Thanks!“
“Our favorite little ramen / Japanese restaurant in Puyallup. The waitresses are always super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and quaint but clean and comfortable. There is a small parking lot in the back and a few stalls in the front. Their black garlic ramen is always our favorite.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and offer little children's bowls and scissors for children to eat.“
