Prompt and polite service. Quiet and relaxing spot for an early Friday afternoon. My drink was smooth and served at a good temp-not too hot and not lukewarm. Hot Cross Bun was decent, nice little snack with a bite similar to a bagel. FYI, self-bus.
Service & Offering: This is not the same Hoffman's that we came to know and love in Kirkland. After many cakes purchased for different occasions, the service I've received in Redmond has me thinking to go another direction. I believe my dissatisfaction has more to do with a "new policy direction" by the owners than the individuals. The cakes still taste great. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. As a lover of bakeries, Hoffman's stands out as my favorite. So much so that their princess Torte has become our family tradition for birthdays. They've become a part of my family and were treated as such when we come to pick up a cake (usually because I've forgotten until the final hour). The fact the I can roll in, grab a coffe and a cake with my kids name on it, then roll out one pastry richer? Priceless.
