I was excited to go to Alder and Ash as part of restaurant week. I made reservations through Open Table for Saturday, April 20. Pretty disappointed to make the way downtown on a Saturday night, be seated, and then be told after I asked, that they don’t honor restaurant week on Saturdays. There is nothing on their restaurant week menu that says Saturday is excluded, and I still haven’t found anywhere on their website that Saturday is excluded. Their website and menu says April 14-25. We got up and left but I then called and talked to their manager Lisa and she acted like it was my fault. These companies and their fine buried print is so frustrating. As a result, I’ll never go back and I’ll be sure to talk about my bad experience on my social feed. #Bait&Switch #DeceptiveDelusion

Wonderful place to celebrate our 6th anniversary together, complete with complimentary champagne!! The crispy salmon and caviar tots starters were to die for and the wagyu frites and butternut squash and beet salad with salmon were delicious! Thank you!

I wasn't really impressed with the food. I had the salmon, nothing special, and the greens were like soup. The dessert was good. They also add mandatory service charge and sub charge. Pricy for what u get. The service was really disappointing.

Truly a great experience. Great vibe, the decor looks great. The food was amazing. I took my 16 year old son, he said it was the best burger he’s ever had, has a new favorite place. Best Tuna Tartar I have had to date, my son even liked it. The beef Wagyu steak was amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back
Terrible customer service. Took 10 minutes to get the staff’s attention to get seated, another long wait to get the order taken and pay the bill. Breakfast buffet is very pricey for the limited variety of food that is on offer.

We selected Alder and Ash to participate in Seattle’s restaurant week. The choices for each course (3 courses) were a great variety and each full portions! The service, food and drinks were all amazing with plenty of staff which is so hard to come by. We appreciated them all. We had to rush a bit at the end since we were going to see Jim Gaffigan (hilarious) but this did not fluster them at all and we received our check in a timely fashion. We will be back!Kid-friendliness: We did not have children but there were menu options they would like and we saw several there.

Awful treatment of guests and has 0 respect towards artists. Uses AI-generated images to advertise. Says a lot about the quality of this place. Quality is not important to them.Highly DO NOT reccomend.
We ordered the Tempura Vegetables as an appetizer which were decent although expensive for a small mound of tempura vegetables and a smear of basil aoli. Unfortunately, they were the only positive thing we had. My girlfriend couldn't drink her water as the glass tasted of soap. For our main course we ordered the Chopped Salad with chicken added. We subbed goat cheese for the bleu cheese as neither of us are fans. As a chef of over a decade I was excited to see the knife skills of such a nice establishment but I was sorely disappointed. There was no skill in the salad. The avocado was bruised and inedible. The egg crudely cut in half, and the tomato was haphazard at best. To top it off, the buttermilk herb dressing tasted wholly of vinegar and citrus, overpowering the entire dish. Neither my girlfriend nor myself could finish it. At $90 for the meal, I would have preferred McDonald's, which I haven't eaten since I was 8. Extremely disappointing. Beware.

It’s a decent restaurant. I had dinner there once (no pictures) and breakfast also once. The avocado toast was really tasty and I liked the bread. Good cappuccino. Overall I really liked it. For a hotel restaurant, it’s not bad though it doesn’t match the quality of other restaurants in the area.
