Above average Vietnamese food with nice decor and a great location. Service was fast and efficient, and I appreciated the alcohol and food options. Would bring visitors here if this was their first brush with Vietnamese food.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Had an interview with the owner and was extremely creeped out. Asked very personal questions like: where I live, how much is my RENT ( as if that has anything to do with how I work!), and a few other weird and demeaning questions before saying he’d get back to me and he never did. Ladies save yourself the ick and the waste of time, money and gas and avoid this place.

Update: Pork belly now has skin? And cooked differently...? Definitely not as tender. Hopefully this was just a one time thing!Pho Tai Nam is incredible. Pork belly with broken rice also incredible. Best pho in Seattle, in my opinion. Caramel chicken wings worth a try. Very good. I think they have a weekday special.

Had a good experience at Ba Bar as someone with Celiac, but wanted to leave a review for future gluten free folks. The items labeled gluten free aren't actually gluten free, as both the fryer and the pasta water are shared. Our waitress was amazing and went out of her way to confirm that the kitchen was able to put a new pot of water on to cook my vermecili noodles. I really appreciated their willingness to accommodate, but please don't label items gluten free if they aren't, as someone might not know to ask about shared pasta water, for example.

The food was great, the beers and cocktails were tasty and the service was very good. They allowed me to make a reservation and delivered a great table right on time. I accidentally double tipped because the service was already included, but that's probably more on me than on

Modern Vietnamese restaurants have really increased in popularity in the recent years and it's easy to see why. With a focus on fresh, healthy ingredients and bold, flavorful dishes, these restaurants offer a dining experience that is satisfying, healthy and delicious.Ba Bar is a Vietnamese restaurants that has an innovative takes on traditional recipes. You can find classic dishes like pho, Bún bowls / vermicelli noodles & Sài Gòn Chicken Wings on the menu. On Mondays & Tuesdays they have Wing specials - 10 Wings for $9, but you have to order a drink. The wings are sauced up with nước chấm (fish sauce) so very flavorful!Service was pretty good here, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to make recommendations or accommodate any dietary restrictions. The atmosphere here is welcoming and decorated nicely, we were sat in the back of the restaurant so it was quieter. It was the perfect place to relax, catch up and enjoy a meal with my cousins.I ordered the combo vermicelli noodles for $19. The portion was decent, the noodles were chewy and perfect texture, the chicken thigh was cooked nicely and not dry, but I wasn't a super fan of the house made beef & pork sausage.Overall, a fun, trendy place to go and get Vietnamese food, but priced a bit higher than your typical Vietnamese restaurants.

Vegeterian vermecili was extra ordinary and so was farmer’s pumpkin curry. Tofu seaweed and cabbage salad was refreshing . Grilled Asian eggplant is quite dull and thus you can avoid.Vegetarian options: Vegeterian vermecilli and and farmers pumpkin curry are great
