Holy! I'm not a baker and I'm sure this has a name or something, but when the outside of the broche is cooked just right so the sugar hardens just enough to made it chewy but not at all dry. I love that! What a great little find.
One of the better options for me to go to for some quick but quality breakfast when I'm going from my hotel to the office. The coffee is okay, but the pastries are the highlight here. Whether sweet or savory, they are usually a great pick me up, (and the savory ones are great for some morning after hangovers)

Best chocolate croissants in the city. Love the people that work here as well. It has become something I sincerely look forward to on the days that I come into the office. I know Carolyn and the team put a lot of work into the pastries and it shows. I'm inclined to go make peace with the Madison location just so I can enjoy the croissants more often.
