The coffee was good and the service was fast! However I was disappointed to witness an employee dumping a mop bucket into the storm drain out back. Storm drains aren't filtered and doing this contributes the the pollution in the waters directly across the street from their patio. I realize there may be more to the story but just want to make sure you know customers notice and care about these things!
Everything about this coffee shop is a joy. The staff, and especially Ghazal, are rays of sunshine in Seattle’s cloudy weather. The drinks, the old school ambiance, the window display to the roastery, the drive thru, and especially the great drinks contribute to this being one of my favorite cafes in Seattle.

This cafe transported me back to the shops in my home town of Federal Way. Very classic, second wave, homie style with lots of pastry options and Italian style dark roast coffee. I ordered their espresso which tasted like a classic dark roast with lots of body and chocolate notes, and a sausage egg cheese sandwich which had been sitting for three days but still tasted decent.
