Just had them for the first time today and OMG!!! The cruller, the apple fritter and croisant/donut hybrid were ridiculous! Can't wait to go to the store and see for myself! (A friend bought/brought them).
Have driven by Family Donut Shop many times but finally stopped in to grab some donuts. It's run by a sweet Vietnamese couple. They're in a plaza that houses Gyro Sababa and Teriyaki Plus. We dropped in on a Monday morning (10:30am) and were greeted with donut hole samples. Donuts are in the $1.99 (regular/filled) to $2.99 USD (fancy) price range. Maple glazed bar! Outstanding! $1.99. Not overly sweet, and has a nice "bite" to it.... the doughnut its self has a slight tang which pairs nicely with the maple glaze. One doughnut is quite filling... these doughnuts are not "air"! Next time I think I will try the apple fritter. Friendly customer service, good price, filling and delicious. I will be back!
