This a great little place and the funky ambience and pleasant service mostly made up for the food that should’ve been better for the price. Everyone loved the baguette and butter. The beets in the salad were a bit undercooked (should be fork tender) though the arugula was fresh (no hint of mold). I've been here twice now and have gotten the steak frites both times because it's just that damn good. It's the most expensive item on the menu, and at $24 it's a steal considering the pan sauce and the seasoned fries checks all the umami boxes so well, both times I nearly ordered seconds.
