Got the BBQ trinity plate; brisket, rib, and sausage. The brisket was extremely dry, the rib was ok and the sausages werent like room temp. Also got the potato salad and it was super watery, definitely not good "Texas"

Meat was great. I had the pulled pork and brisket with green collards.Meat was soft and tender as expected and the pulled pork was very tasty. Green collards were good

Our first time here for their BBQ. Pretty good pulled pork and chicken sandwich. Fries and sauces were great. The pork was a bit dryer side. Might come back to try their taco for breakfast.

Pet friendly and people friendly bbq place in slu. The server was so friendly and has great service as well. Getting my pup a bbq treat and water. Suggesting things on the happy hour as well. We got the double meal and it was worth the $30 bucks!

The food is ok. My family is from Mississippi, and this was certainly a different " southern" style food experience. The cornbread was bland, and a little dry. Luckily, there was butter to be placed on it but it didn't help. Think of it as yellow saltines that leave your mouth dry.I ordered the two piece meal. The batter could be a lot more crunchy. The chicken itself was spongy and rubbery. The collard greens were over salted, but the portions were fine.Everything was a bit of a disappointment and lacked flavor. I know we are in the PNW and the palate here is different, but using salt won't hide the lack of taste.Still on the hunt for good reasonably priced southern soul food. The search continues...

DISCLAIMER: I am writing this review based on ONE single order. I'm a visitor from the midatlantic coast (NC)Ordered brisket platter. Sides: mac n cheese, chili. Appetizer: billionaire beef bacon (BBB)GOOD: BBB was outstanding. I'll be making this in the immediate future on my own smoker setup. Plan to call my butcher before I get back to have the meat ready for my return.BAD: Mac n cheese was not cheesy. If I can see and stab each elbow with my plastic fork, it isn't cheesy enough. Chili was bland. No flavor profile. Definitely needed more pepper and spice.Brisket. First off, portion was VERY generous. I appreciate that. As far as flavor, it left much to be desired. Minimal smoke ring, but tender nonetheless. Overcooked for brisket. The major missing flavor was salt. Bark of the brisket was chewy when it should be crispy, I suspect bc the lack of salt to dehydrate that outer layer. This is meat better suited to shred for tacos eith other flavors or make sandwiches with horseradish. Not to be eaten as an entreéAgain, this is based off of ONE order. That BBB is the bomb, the staff was very hospitable. I walked in, waited behind another dude to order. By the time I ordered, there were 4 more behind me. I think some minor tweaking would make Jack's a 5/5. Staff was already 5/5. Restaurant and cleanliness was 5/5 as well.Very expensive but it's to be expected in this area.

Not horrible but not good. Everything was mediocre. Brisket, pulled pork, mac, beans, nothing to write home about. Brisket cooked well but lacked seasoning. I won’t be back.

Mac and cheese had peppers in it, but did not mention this in the description. The person that wanted the Mac and cheese couldn’t eat it because of that. Links were good, chicken was good, brisket was fine. Service was fast and friendly, we put in an order for pick up and it was ready on time. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because of the Mac and cheese not having the full ingredients.

This ain't just good BBQ, it's li'l piece of Texan heaven right here in the Evergreen State. Sat myself down and tackled their sausages like a cowboy wrangling a steer. Now, those tasty tubes of delight would make any red-blooded human holler "Yeehaw!"Rolling onto the ribs, lordy! Them bones were picked clean faster than a jackrabbit on a hot griddle. Each bite was like a Texas two-step: a swift kick of flavor followed by a smooth, mellow finish.Couldn't ride out without sampling their corn pudding - and lemme tell ya, it was richer than a gold mine. But the real star of this rodeo? Their Banana Pie - a sweet lil' send off as magical as fireflies on a warm, southern night.Next time y'all are hankering for some outta this world BBQ, mosey on down to Jack's. You'll leave stand-offish as a tumbleweed and satisfied as a hound in high weeds. Five stars plus a moonshine toast to Jack's BBQ! Y'all done good!
