The food was perfect at tonight’s visit to Le Pichet but I’m sorry to say the waitress was surly. We felt treated like children and not worthy of being there from the moment we sat down when it was empty to the moment we left when it was busy. Though it is a wonderful stalwart, I won’t be hurrying back.
Food was hit or miss, service capricious. The roasted duck was desiccated and tough. Should not have been plated. When sent back to the kitchen, it was returned with the instruction to dig a little deeper for the good stuff. Visions of the turkey in Christmas Vacation. We absolutely loved it here! Fantastic service and everything was delicious. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the escargot special, a charcuterie plate, frisee salad, and duck confit. The duck leg was huge and crispy, served over very tasty whipped potatoes. My favorite though was probably the chocolate mousse dessert special! A memorable meal on our vacation.
