I’ve been here a few times. The prices of things are astronomical but that’s to be expected. The staff are very unfriendly each time I’ve been. The food is alright I guess. I’d go to a place where staff seem like they care even a little - it goes a long way.

POC beware - I just moved to the neighborhood so I wanted to try out the shops around. He immediately gave me a rude look, decline to make me a sandwich (what???) then when I said I'd just get a drink (out the cooler) he flipped the tip screen on his side and robbed me. Yes, I will be posting my experience on Tik Tok. Yes, I will be suing. Racism in 2023??? Theft??? Insane. May they all face their karmic demise.

Do not shop here, the business owners manipulate their charges when at check out like tipping themselves or double charging for an item. I already contacted my bank about this issue.

What a lovely, clean deli and store. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and made a fantastic club sandwich at a very reasonable priceHighly recommend eating here if you're looking for something quick and delicious!!! It's quiet and comfortable, perfect little spot. And if you have the need for some groceries this is your place. And they have a wonderful selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

It may be a bit pricey compared to the convenience and grocery stores around town but honestly, it's a very nice place. They don't just have beer, wine, basic home needs, and beverages. They also have a coffee maker and they carry a great coffee brand. They make sandwiches, breakfast burritos, salads, etc. I highly reccomend the bacon breakfast burrito. I get it when I can in the morning before work.

I adore this place: it's got a "mom & pop" atmosphere, nestled in a thriving modern building just blocks from Seattle Center and Climate Pledge Arena. I'm from a small town, and Metropolitan Deli and Café is as inviting and friendly as the family-owned places I frequented as a child. I tried a BLT; the sandwich was made to order on delicious, toasted sourdough bread. I didn't wait long and the service was hospitable in a genuine way.

I feel this market has just enough essential items at the right price for the convenience. The sandwiches taste like they were made with love. The wine and beer selection offers something new each visit. I tried a Japanese IPA and was pleasantly surprised at what came out of the can for only $5.

Good for a quick, custom made sandwich, but be prepared to pay downtown prices even in Queen Anne. $19 for a sandwich, candy and a drink.
