I am constantly in search of good hot pot places in Seattle. While Hai Di Lao has been my go-to choice, after a meal at Qiao Lin it is definitely rising the ranks on my hot pot list and has the potential to overthrow hai di lao. During our visit, my friends and I chose the four-broth option, featuring two mild selections (tomato broth, pork bone broth) and two spicy options (Chongqing spicy broth, pepper pork broth). The waiter told us that the pepper pork broth was not as spicy but we found it to be the spiciest of the lot. We ordered the beef combo and the presentation was one of the best I've seen at hot pot. The combo arrived on a golden cow and even had a cool fog experience for the first few minutes it was on the table. Every cut of beef on that platter was a delight, especially the Wagyu. Since the platter was pretty filling we only ordered a few other items: quail eggs, skewers, noodles, and meatballs. These were good but honestly didn't compare to the wagyu from the beef platter. The wait staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive throughout our entire dinner. Their patience was notable especially when they graciously waited for us to finish our meal and didn't push us at all even though we were the last party to leave. I will definitely be back to Qiao Lin, primarily for the remarkable beef platter and the commendable service.

overall: 4/5 food: 4/5 service: 4/5 ambiance: 4/5 i first saw this establishment through an instagram ad, and i was instantly intrigued! qiao lin offers various sauces, fruits, and desserts at their sauce bar (for an additional fee). parking is a bit tricky- we parked in one of the various parking lots and walked over. my party of three came in on a sunday afternoon, and we didn't have to wait long at all! we were seated almost immediately. first impressions: clean environment, well decorated, but a bit claustrophobic feeling. service wise, all the workers seem to speak mandarin and english! they also came around frequently to refill water pitchers and our soup broth, but other than that there was not much interaction. food wise, we ordered ala cart through their online menu. we got the 3 broth pot (golden chicken, tom yum, and the chongqing spicy). i liked the spicy broth and the chicken broth the best. i like qiao lin offers a variety of meats, mushrooms, seafood, and veggies, and i would recommend coming here to try out their hotpot! i recommend getting their marbled beef and the mushroom combo :).

Found Qiao Lin Hotpot via Instagram so I was super excited to try them out. Sadly, I was disappointed with this experience. PROS: -You have one shared pot. You can split one or two or three and its same price with any broth you get. -If you order a bunch and the food plates overcrowd the table they have a side table where you can place your extras. -The menu is on your phone. You can scan to order at your table and the QR code is linked specifically to your table's cart. -They provide aprons for free while you dine in. -Most hot pot places we go to dont offer takeout boxes. Here, if you cant finish they provide boxes to take uncooked or cooked items home and containers to take your broth(s) home. -There are parking garages available across and next to it. CONS: -The sauce/dipping bar are an extra cost ($3 per person) and honestly without the sauce, the meat and veggies itself taste a bit odd. -Bathrooms are one stall for each gender. Sometimes there will be people in line just waiting for a stall to open. -Heard there was a dessert at the end but never got one. Maybe it was because we never could finish it. Overall, I am willing to try them out again in the future since this business is pretty new (opened in summer 2023). Hopefully next time this place is better. Still pricey for hot pot when i have had better experiences at a similar price.

A great hotpot spot in downtown! If you've been to haidilao, this is very similar to that. There's a sauce bar with some snacks and desserts, in addition to standard hotpot items. The service was good as well and they were well attentive. Our food came out quickly, and we never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Overall a solid hot pot spot!

If you're in Seattle, this is a must visit! One of the best hot pot places in Seattle. Firstly the service is amazing, if you are a first timer this is where you should start as the GM William is very detailed and friendly with their service. The food is delicious, fresh and have a wide variety. I strongly recommend the sea food options and the rice cake with brown sugar dessert is a must have! As added bonus, the interior is authentic hotpot decor with inspired Chinese artifact which makes it a perfect instagramable place ;)

Soup base is pretty good but could be spicier for Chongqing hot pot; the meat choices taste really good for their prices; sauce bar is decent and the appetizers that come with it are very good too. Along with good service makes this place a great choice for hot pot in the downtown

Like their soup base a lot. The portion is not huge with relatively cheap price too. This allow you to try more dishes. Love the dessert/snack/sauce bar.Parking is very secure which is rare in Seattle. Does cost $6 though.30% off on dishes after 8:30pm everyday. Which is a pretty good deal. Please serve the dessert that are not being consumed very fast in a smaller container so it doesn’t get bad sitting out all day. (Like the 绿豆汤)

The food is usually excellent, and this place has been my favorite hot pot spot in Seattle. However, today's experience was disappointing. I arrived at 4:45, but by 5:30, I felt rushed to finish my meal, even though the hot pot arrived at 5. The server began suggesting a to-go box at 5:30 and presented the check at 5:40.

The food is good and their sauce bar is better than HaiDiLaos, the service wasn’t initially the greatest but the 2nd server we got, Angela was amazing.

Service is good. The food in general is so so, we’re disappointed about the soup base, too much oil ruins the flavor..

Not recommended at all, first time and will be our last. When we entered we had to wait till someone came out, mentioned that there were very few customers. Still had to wait, but after long while, a server came to us and asked if we are Chinese (we aren’t), and I think that’s where the inattentive service came from. We were seated and asked if it’s our first time which we said yes, and then they brushed off to the QR code to order. The same server asked us if we knew how to eat hotpot (we told them we know very little), then they didn’t explain what it is, or how we eat and he walked away and never came back. Also saw that they gave bags for clothes and we never got offered that for some reason. Later into 10 minutes, as we are confused with the foods, it came in very confusing order. Rice was couple days old. Ice cream machine broke half way in. Barely any utensils for 3 broths. Cross contaminated chopsticks. Later hour or so in, our forgotten beef came in when we were finishing up. We had servers just ignore when we called them over. THE BIGGEST PART IS THEIR PRICE ON THE WEBSITE, QR MENU AND PAPER MENU WERE ALL DIFFERENT. All in all, really disappointed and felt ostracized in an Asian restaurant being an Asian American.

It should be the most cost-effective hot pot restaurant in Seattle. I recommend it.

Been there several times because it was authentic, tasty, and more affordable than other Chinese hot pot places in town. But they’ve raised the price recently and it’s just becoming a bit pricey. Plus, it became self order via QR code which means fewer staff and less timely service. The staff were friendly but now that the place gets more popular, they were too busy to serve tables like they used to.We liked the side bar and dessert. But there are fewer options now compared to 4-6 months ago when they had pig ear in the side bar.Reservation/waitlist system was a bit chaotic and people with reservations were waiting for 30min+. Will probably come back but not as frequent as before given it’s becoming more expensive.Parking: Paid parking $5 for 3 hours with validation. Entrance is just next to the front door.
