Outstanding service. The mezcal menu is longer than the tequila menu -a very good sign. All of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Really enjoyed the

Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.

Delicious drinks, great ambiance, and a bargain price for the caliber of cocktail bars it is batting with.

Roquette is a French-inspired cocktail bar, which means they stock and use a great variety of Chartreuse and things like that. But their bartenders also seem to like mezcal as much as I do. This makes Roquette the perfect cocktail bar. This is my favorite cocktail bar. The drinks are excellent. The service is excellent - try talking to the bartender and servers, they're very nice. And the vibe and atmosphere are superior. I always have a good time here.

The server where we had dinner earlier in the evening told us this was a speakeasy. I think people in Seattle have a different concept of speakeasy than we do in Chicago. I would call this more of a tavern with mixologist. It's small and casual. We weee coming from a fancy dinner and felt really overdressed. We started to leave but the bartenders convinced us to stay and give it a try. I'm glad we did. We visit Seattle once or twice a year and lived on the east side for a year. This was hands down the best bar I've visited in the PNW. The drinks were good. The service was great and the other patrons were friendly and fun to talk to. One of my knocks against Seattle-area bars was that never felt very friendly. You can sit down at a bar in Chicago and make new best friends in an hour. In Seattle, no one even talks to you. This bar is making me reconsider that stance. Maybe it's just the bars I've been going to. If you like friendly bars with good drinks, i think you should give Roquette a try.

As I wrapped my dinner at Umi Sake (the place right next door), my friend and I randomly decided to go for one drink to Roquette in Belltown and ended up staying quite a bit and had three more rounds of cocktails from their well crafted menu collection. It's a laid back, sophisticated yet lively and cozy. I love gin so I got Panic Button cocktail (empress gin, lemon, egg white) It had some seed which left my tongue with a bit of tingly feeling. It was quite yummy. Service was decent. Our server kept refilling our glasses with water to ensure we're hydrated. That was very sweet. This place qualifies for a cute date night spot. Try it!

Hidden behind a blue facade lies one of my favorite bars in Seattle. The bar has a sophisticated and intimate vibe and a distinct and pleasant scent as well. The drinks are also top shelf and so is the service. The menu tends to lean sorta sweet and fruity with unique flavors--try the Panic Button and you will get what I mean!

Our host at Bathtub Gin recommended this place, and boy it did not disappoint! Dimly lit and very intimate setting with amazing speakeasy cocktails. Prices are a bit on the steeper end but TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY. Quality of the drinks is simply astounding. We were greeted and attended to quickly, and sat in the front corner which was super cozy. Dare I say this is my new favorite Seattle bar?!? Yes, I think so!

Amazing and unique cocktails. Bartenders took care to find out what we liked and catered to us. This place has all kinds of chartreuse as well.

The ambiance is lovely, drinks are delightful, and the comfortable sofas create a cozy setting. However, it's worth noting that the service can be quite slow, even during quieter times. So, if you plan to visit, make sure not to be in a rush – it's a place to savor and take your time.
