Roquette is a French-inspired cocktail bar, which means they stock and use a great variety of Chartreuse and things like that. But their bartenders also seem to like mezcal as much as I do. This makes Roquette the perfect cocktail bar.This is my favorite cocktail bar. The drinks are excellent. The service is excellent - try talking to the bartender and servers, they're very nice. And the vibe and atmosphere are superior. I always have a good time here.
The server where we had dinner earlier in the evening told us this was a speakeasy. I think people in Seattle have a different concept of speakeasy than we do in Chicago. I would call this more of a tavern with mixologist.It's small and casual. We weee coming from a fancy dinner and felt really overdressed. We started to leave but the bartenders convinced us to stay and give it a try. I'm glad we did. We visit Seattle once or twice a year and lived on the east side for a year....read full review

Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies.
