This is a hidden south Indian gem that most Seattleites don't know exists right among them. And as a pop up station at the Sunday Ballard Market too. For those who know about traditional Bangalore dosas (Vidyarthi Bhavan, MTR etc) this place will be a welcome revelation, especially given the grim South Indian restaurant scene in the Seattle area. Growing up in Bangalore, the birthplace of authentic Dose(not Dosa), I was longing for good dose until I came across The Bangalore Kitchen. I don’t mind waiting in line, driving on a Sunday to a busy market, daring cold weather, etc to taste the authentic Dose served truly in Bangalore style.
