Fantastic bar and restaurant located in the heart of downtown Seattle. Friday nights get busy at happy hour, so plan ahead. They have an outdoor area that looked great.

First time here. Great spot. Loungy vibe. Was recommended by a friend. Had a great table with a sofa by the fireplace. Service was A+++ (Thanks Cristobal for the great service and recommendations). Food was great. Burger perfectly cooked and the pasta was really good. Oh, and the Espresso Martinis were AMAZING!!! Will definitely be back for those Spressi Martíns!

Decided to try this spot before a matinee at The 5th Avenue Theatre across the street and so glad we did. Our waiter, Sheldon, made great recommendations for craft cocktails that were unique and smooth. The chop chop salad was plentiful and very tasty and the chocolate coconut cake was the perfect way to end the meal. Great casual but refined atmosphere that felt both secluded and open, with quiet conversations buzzing around us. Perfect location in the heart of downtown for a business lunch, or prior to the theater or shopping.

Wow. Just wow. Most terrible and bizzare experience. Our reservation was at 615... we were seated at 645. We saw a waiter at 7. My friend ordered a glass of wine and I ordered a vodka martini. 10 minutes later the wine arrived and another 10 minutes later the martini arrived... with gin. The waiter was so aloof. People were literally standing waiting to pay their checks. Weirdly there were about 4 servers but I don't know what they were doing? There were dirty dishes on tables left for at least an hour. I gave the server my card so that I could pay for dinner when we ordered that way when we were heading out to the theater we wouldn't have to wait around because I did notice that people were waiting a long time for their checks. After about an hour and 20 minutes and my friend only having a glass of wine and me already paying the entire tab for just one glass of wine we said we just need to leave because we needed to get to the theater. We waited another 20 minutes to get someone to refund us. The food never arrived by the way. They told us that they must've lost the ticket. So I didn't want to pay for that! At that same time, the waiter asked if I wanted to just "chug my martini" and could make it right now for me. That was kind of weird that somebody would ask me to chug a martini. Anyways we were late for the show which we spent a lot of money on tickets for and it was opening night. Never going back. I felt like, perhaps we are on one of those TV shows in which they play tricks on people it was truly bizarre Such a bummer because this place has great potential as a pre 5th Avenue Theatre venue.

Food was extremely salty and overpriced. Service was super slow even though it wasn't busy. Music was loud and hard to hear the person sitting right next to me. Will not eat here again.

Seriously swanky bar / cafe / quick-bites joint at the brand new Rainier Square. The place feels and smells new, with comfortable leather couches and chairs, a classy fireplace... a perfect place to have business meals or hangout with whoever you want to impress on cocktails and finger food. The coffee seems to be something special here. The cafe is attached to the bar but it starts to parallel artisanal coffee shops. Genuinely good beans and brewed well. A wide selection of beer and cocktails but what was more amazing was the food and its quality - generous portions and taste at the finger-food / tapas pricing. The NY steak was absolutely delicious set at only $22 while the thick cut fries were cherished. On top of a great atmosphere, drinks and food, our server was wonderful. She seemed to be new but she was simply amazing and accomodating in all ways.Fonte Bar won't be this good for long as it gets more popular and people swarm it. Enjoy it while it lasts folks!

They had a limited valentines day menu. I understand why, but I was not informed when I booked the reservation and I was looking forward to trying some item from their regular menu. Staff was also slow, drinks took forever, and we sat for a while after our table was cleared to receive the check. If it was busier that night, I wouldn't have minded, but there were only a handful of other diners there. I wouldn't say it was a terrible experience, just not what we were expecting, and I probably won't be going back.

Had the WORST service here last night. Was seated in the corner and was not attended to for 45 minutes even though the place was empty. Moody waiter (slender white man with an attitude and whispy hair) completely ignored me so I had to get up and ask to order a meal from the bar from a nice woman manager. When the rude waiter eventually brought my burger to me, he dropped the plate off and said nothing even as he looked me in the eyes as I thanked him. Food was good but not worth the bad service.

Looks like it belongs in Bellevue Square...over the top to an extreme! Happy Hour glass of wine was $12. The food was not happy hour type food so none of the 4 of us bought any. No reason to return. Not my kind of place.

Atmosphere is great.FoodThe good news is they had the best French Dip I’ve ever had.The bad news is they just took off the menu even though it was popular and there looks like no decent replacement. Will go elsewhere for lunch unless they bring it back.

We were looking for a nice place for a light meal and nice drinks before the symphony. We started by asking our server to suggest a popular and unique cocktail that is a signature drink for the bar. He said he had just the drink. It was a vodka gimlet. Not unique at all. But it took over 15 minutes to just get our drinks. Terrible. Then we ordered our food and the salad was excellent but the fish and chips were so so. We asked for some extra ketchup and tartar sauce and it took again 10 minutes. Our server never asked it our food was prepared well and he didn't even talk to us when he brought over the check. Food was okay, but serve was lacking. We will try again, assuming that we were there on a bad night.
