We were visiting from out of town and stopped in for a beer and pretzel. The service was not great throughout. No sense of friendliness, but I can get past that. When the pretzel came, it was hard and dry. Don't even get me started on the flavor. I have had much better from the Target food court. Because of that, I only ate a half a bite. When we asked for the check, we had the pretzel pushed away from us, towards the bartender. There was no question of 'is everything okay' or an offer to take it off our bill. We dine out often and have never experienced such a tourist trap with no awareness or customer service skills.

I had a truly bizarre experience at Pike Brewing. Our server was insanely rude to our group in the name of “humor”. My colleagues and I (group of 7) stopped in for an after work happy hour because we work a block away. Our visit started off by us asking if we could get the happy hour menu and our server telling us that because we chose to sit where “he does all the work” instead of the bar, we can’t do happy hour. Ok, that’s fine. Then, two of my colleagues attempted to order non-alcoholic beverages and our server went on a tirade about how they’re a brewery, “do you think their brewers are going around thinking about how to accommodate all these non-alcohol people”, “obviously we don’t have kombucha”, etc. There are many breweries in Seattle that do have non-alcoholic beverages and even kombucha (believe it or not!). This felt particularly distasteful because you never know why someone doesn’t drink. Like people who are sober or pregnant still want to enjoy an outing with friends!!It kept getting weirder. Our server berated us for ordering out of order and said we were making it difficult by not “doing it his way”. He did not make it clear that he had a specific system he wanted us to follow, which would have been easy but whatever. So he had us start over with our ordering.Later on, our server called us out specifically by saying “your group just doesn’t get my humor, it’s going over your heads”. This was after he made fun of someone in our group for getting a player’s name wrong when talking about football (???).He also told us not to fill out the survey at the end after paying because no one reads them. Cool cool.It was funny for the first “joke” or two, but quickly turned our visit sour. None of us ordered food in order to avoid inconveniencing our rude server. We got one round of drinks and left. Definitely will not be back which is a shame because we frequently go out as a group and it really is a cool location.Pros: the entire venue is wheelchair accessible, which is great! There are ramps to every level of seating and an elevator. That’s rare for downtown. Beer was good.

We have stopped in at Pike Brewing at least once per trip during our last three visits to Seattle. I like that the flights have 6 samplers (2 recommended sets but you can mix and match) and the taproom is full of memorabilia giving a pretty decent atmosphere. On the downside, possible due to the proximity to Pikes place and street market, there is a bit of a food court (or over touristed) feel to it where people seem to rush in, eat and drink, and rush on out again. It doesn't have the feel of a local brewpub and none of the offerings we have been able to try have really been standout beers.

Nice brewery just outside the Pike Place Market. The place is very nice, the beers are good and the sandwich I ate was decent.

Great beer and food! Cool little place with all of Pikes beers on tap. Great sausages and pretzels as well. Came here for lunch while on a business trip would highly recommend for a team building meeting place or just relax and catch the game.

That's Tacoma

I'm not much for the impersonal QR code ordering and billing process but the setting does have a wonderful atmosphere.

I had a big problem with most of the management. Ryan, one of the AGM's made offhand VERY offensive remarks about the struggling homeless population in Seattle. Even going as far to say, they..."don't deserve to be treated as people". He'd also make off-hand remarks about women's basketball and that is isn't a 'real' game compared to men while talking to his staff. The staff on the floor looked unhappy, most of the food wasn't seasoned, wasn't cooked fully, and just seemed like a bigoted, unfriendly expirence coming from the top down. I don't know how this buisness is still running with managers like Ryan running the floor. He shouldn't even be there. What a misogynistic, hypocritical place with terrible dining, and sub-par food. I'm not recommending or returning. This place does not deserve my money, nor anyone else's.Please get rid of Ryan, his comments aren't welcome in Seattle, or anywhere. Thank you! Will not be recommending!

Beer is decent, food is mediocre at best and the service was ok. If you're into the whole "keep Portland / Seattle weird" crowd, then you will most likely appreciate this place. Will I be back, probably not but it was an experience. PS, stay away from the pretzels!!
