I have been here a couple of times a year for over a decade and I have never had the disappointing experience others seem to have. It gets super busy during events but the staff does a great job keeping up. Everyone working here today was cheerful and friendly, and there were at least 2 people out among the tables keeping things clean. Staff were really courteous and helpful. Service was quick. Food was fine and good enough to satisfy our young kids, but about what you'd expect from a museum cafe, and on the pricey side. Was nice to have hand sanitizer stations around the eating area.Kid-friendliness: It's an open seating area and the hot food options for kids were well-suited for my finicky children.

We came to Wings Café for lunch on an admittedly busy day between Christmas and New Year's. The museum was packed with families with little kids, including our own family. The menu is enticing as it has options that sound nicer than the usual chicken-strips-and-fries cafeteria aimed at kids. We ordered three kids' meals and several adult options.
