Chickadee Bakeshop Bakery •
8102 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie

“Wanted go get off the slushy I 90 for a bit & found this delicious bakery. The apple muffin was light with delightful sugar & cinnamon topping. Staff super friendly, store was clean with a wonderful aroma of chocolate brownies. Was pleasantly suprised to find it open on a Sunday & so many fresh choices. Hint if google takes you to Railroad street walk through the ice cream shop to the back to find the bakery. This will be my future spot to grab a bite before visiting the falls.“

Waffly Good Waffles Breakfast • $

“Wow. Such a delight. I think this place must be brand new because I can't believe there isn't a line around the block for these waffles. We got some things to share and everything was so good. I thought the Monte Cristo might be weird with the sweet waffle but it's amazing and a perfect salty/sweet balance. The lemon curd was so delicious and not too sweet, which I was worried about. Service was so quick and friendly. I can't wait to come back whenever I'm in town.“

“We had quiche, Crossiant sandwich, coffee, banana bread.. It was all amazing. Probably the owner was the only working person in the cafe, with so.manay customers and she did her best to get everything ready and served as fast as she could. Very polite and gracious.“

Safeway Bakery Bakery •
34828 SE Douglas St, Snoqualmie

“Two words: poke bar! I used to frequent this location often a couple-few years back as a dear friend works nearby and it was a handy spot to meat for a quick lunch. Bonus that they have a Subway-style poke bar where you follow the line of poke/toppings goodness in a build-your-own-bowl format. The poke was and is super fresh and delish. Definitely wish this was an option at more Safeways! In general, Safeways are one of my fave chain groceries, as they are almost always clean, well-stocked, and with gorgeous produce sections. The flip side is they are usually more highly priced than other stores, and this location was no exception.Still, for a quick stop for snacks (and poke) while zooming through Snoqualmie on my way up to the Cascades, this one is a winner.“

“My favorite coffee shop on the eastside! I will happily drive the extra 15 minutes each way away from my local Starbucks for the best coffee shop on the eastside! I love Fall City too! Worth a trip. They are so friendly here and their coffee and baked goods are divine. The seasonal drinks are always worth trying too! ❤️“

“If you ever go to QFC and need coffee and see a little lady working at Starbucks? Her name is Mary she's a amazing woman. I've known her since I was 13 14 and I'm 40 she's one of the hardest working women have ever met so tip her well. She deserves it I'm pretty sure she is two jobs one at the Starbucks and one at the restaurant Fall City called The ridge River saloon If you see her there tip her well there to.“

“This sweet bakery is a little gem. The classic, inviting storefront door chimes a welcoming bell as you enter and the comforting smell of baking dough prepares you to make your choice of savory or sweet treat. We chose a blueberry donut and almond croissant - both delicious, though my croissant was particularly satisfying. The bakery cases are not huge but seem to have just the right amount of variety - cookies of all sizes and flavors, donuts, pastries, pies, and savory choices. A loaf of their apple bread caught my attention and we decided to take one to go. This ended up being my husband's favorite. The gal at the counter was kind and helpful. This seemed to be popular with the locals. About 10 customers came in during the 20 minutes we were there! The atmosphere had a vintage flair with the checkered floor and hand painted walls. This was a charming stop and a lovely little local business to support. We’ll be back!“
