Service was not great, food was disappointing. Not the best experience. Overpriced for the quality.

Door dashed 2 tacos the hard shell tasted like old oil . Ordered 2 Medium horchatas got some orange drink size large . The guacamole was runny and tasted like bruised avocados and Nachos bland and soggy . Never again will I order from here

2.99 per crispy taco seems like quite a bit to pay for meat that is very dry and lacking in flavor. The tacos barely had any lettuce or cheese on them either. I will not ever be returning to this establishment. Taco Bell is a MUCH better choice, in my humble opinion.

Heard good things about their burritos. I've only gone twice. They have a great menu selection for people like me that's not really sure what they want haha I'll be visiting again

Walked in for a to go order and was out in about 5 minutes after ordering. When I initially walked in there were 3 or 4 employees working, I was the only customer inside (2 in the drive thru) and I was not greeted or acknowledged for almost 5 minutes of standing there which is poor customer service, I used to be a waitress and would always acknowledge my guests even if I had to say I'll be with you in just a moment. The interior is pretty big, plenty of booths and tables for this type of establishment and they have a taco sauce bar that you can help yourself to (which is why i went inside so I knew I would get enough salsas). Now to the food, I ordered 1 carne asada fry, 1 bean and cheese burrito with extra cheese, and 3 of their Sunday night hard shell shredded beef tacos (.50 off). My total came to $27 and i left a $3 tip, not bad but also not good since the food was not portioned properly (see my pictures). The asada fries should have been cooked longer, asada is actual asada not fatty steak like another popular place in town that offers similar food but it is not seasoned so it definitely needs to be in a burrito or the fries with toppings, couldn't imagine getting their asada in tacos for this reason. The asada fries were also prepared sloppy and only fill a little over half of the container and for $10 it should be full from side to side. The shredded beef tacos (they don't have ground beef just an FYI for ground beef lovers) were okay, again bland meat and not worth the 2.50 sale price tag with how little meat and legit no cheese, just a couple of flakes of cheese, and a crap ton of lettuce. The bean and cheese burrito was the shining star here and is what my 4 stars is for, I probably would've given them 2 maybe 3 stars because of their pricing if it wasn't for this burrito! Legit the best bean and cheese burrito in Spokane and even better that it's only $3.99!! They also don't have actual salsa, only pico and taco sauces, the taco sauces are decent, the light red and light green ones they put in the bag were bland but the ones I got from the sauce bar (dark red and chunkier green) were much better as far as flavor and spicier level go. I will come back especially for the bean and cheese burrito. The beans are seasoned really well! This was my second time here, first time was on Friday when my coworker placed a grubhub order and that was a crap shoot(not literally) she ordered chips and salsa and received a box of chips that were covered in pico (pico is not salsa!) Especially when you think of chips and salsa.. half of her order was wrong too, she ordered a salad but received a burrito and no sauces were included with the order, she was also charged $65 instead of $40 something that grub hub said she paid but disputed that with grub hub so be careful with that. The employees seem like the don't have quality assurance when it comes to putting your order together and that needs to change in my opinion. Just go try the bean and cheese burrito and you won't be disappointed lol.

The food was tasty and good but I have a few gripes: -the tv menu's were still on demo mode so the menu would disappear every few seconds for random tv promo images for TCL -the inside was insanely cold, I could see my breath -if you order more than one burrito you won't be able to tell which one is which because they don't mark the wrappers, its such a small thing to not do that makes you wonder what other small details they just don't do

Very rude customer service. They made my order wrong, and then all of them are smiling as they make my new order, I said thank you and got no response back. Not what you would expect from a new business trying to make it in a very competitive market. Ba bye.

Always great Mexican food and just like I used to get in California. Great vegan options and meat eater options. Fills you up for a great price. Does not disappoint. Where else are you going to get two enormous burritos for under $20 that taste that good?Vegetarian options: Great vegan burrito (I'm not vegan lol but order it often for flavor)

Been eagerly waiting for this location to open up as the Northside location is a bit far away when you live in the valley, but I was overall disappointed. Starting with the good....the staff are friendly, the hot sauce bar was well stocked and the location was spotless. However, the prices are much higher (double the price in some cases), portion sizes are smaller and the quality of food just isn't as good as the Northside location.Hopefully this improves over time...I will revise my review after trying them out again maybe in a month or two. I really didn't want to leave a mediocre review...California Mexican Food is an insane value for truly excellent food...but this Valley location fails to live up to the standards the Northside location has set.

Overall, it was an okay experience. The burrito had a lot of potatoes. I'm not opposed to potatoes in burritos(thus why I ordered it) but it should not be more than half the burrito (see picture). The meat tasted good, there were a few bites that I got mostly asada and onions and they were great bites. But overall it was only a large and filling burrito because of the potatoes. The jumbo taco was good. I would've used a smaller tortilla and less toppings for the amount of meat, but everything tasted good. I went drive thru, which was easy and relatively fast, although the menu and aesthetic could've been more appealing. Service was efficient. Price was acceptable. I think what bothered me most was watching an employee return from a grocery run with winco brand cooked/ frozen shrimp

Went in a couple of people ordered Grilled Chicken burrito and a carnitas taco...... Dark meat chicken for grilled chicken and carnitas were boiled and never fried. Made the taco soggy.... Not sure if I will try again

They're what I hoped they would be for a quick lunch while shopping. We were in/fed/out in less than 25 mins. They are the sister resto to California Mexican Food on North Division, but the menu is abbreviated, hence the 'Cali Fast' moniker. The place has been nicely redone, the staff are all smiles, and it's well maintained so far. I went for a breakfast burrito, avoiding the MSG-fest proteins like their other place slings, and it was a perfect nosh. Their salsa bar is an absolute winner, with both mild and caliente offerings, along with traditional pickled veg options. Consider this visit numero uno, of many, with their location in a prime area for our metro shopping. Wicked affordable, too...
