“I dont write reviews often but i feel so charged to write one right now for this bar because this is truly one of the bars that i felt welcomed and like actual family. Being a member of the lgbt i knew i would be accepted but i didnt know that it would come with such warmth. The staff struck up conversation and they were so easy to talk to. I only wanted a drink but i found myself with a drink and such engaging conversation. I didnt want to leave the counter because i felt like i had made a friend there. The environment is low-key, very comfortable and the music was not too loud like how i find other bars in the area. Even other folks who go here are very welcoming and friendly. I would say in conclusion a perfect place for a reasonable drink and an even better place for a well rounded experience. Thank you to the blind buck for making me feel so very good.“

“We immediately felt welcome in nyne. having lived in the west to the midwest and in between, it can be hard to find community. yet we’ve found it in spokane at nyne! i attribute it to being women owned! the staff have been welcoming and supportive to me and my students who use the space during closed hours (see the Gonzaga SPEAR program in action in the picture).“
