This place was a blast to check out of you are into industrial equipment and controls. I've never seen a restaurant like this. I was grinning ear to ear the entire time. The service was great and so was the food. Thank you

Went there for Easter Brunch and it was a miss. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance, my wife has a cane and another member of our party has some health issues as well.We get there 10 minutes before our reservation and end up waiting 10 minutes after our reservation to get seated. We get seated downstairs in the bar in a corner booth about as far away from the buffet as you can get.So my wife with a cane has to walk all these extra steps and use the elevator just to get to the buffet. Considering we had a reservation this was very disappointing. At $55 a plate I am expecting a high end buffet. Sorry to say this but Golden Corral has a better selection and quality than what we had. The Prime Rib was actually really good but the rest of the buffet was lacking. The salad bar was very limited and looked picked over. The bacon was one big jumbled mess which you had to separate yourself with tongs that didn’t work. There were meat, cheese and crackers but no real hors d’oeuvre’s. For $55 you would expect a Chocolate Fountain or something kind of fancy for dessert, nope just cut up cake pieces that were average at best.First time here, I will probably give it another chance with the dinner menu, I would never pay that much again for that lacking of a buffet in quality and selection. The server and staff were friendly but the fact they were so unaware seating us where they did is a big miss.My 2 Cents

Loved the street tacos! And hubby added shrimp to his pasta and called it good. Prices continue to increase and even without alcohol, the bill was stiff. Worth it? Yes.

Very disappointing! Food was less then mediocre. Worst part when checking out, my bill was given to me with just the total cost and a line for tip, total, and signature! I went to leave a too good of a tip of 20% and started questioning the math. I stopped and had to asked for an itemized bill. Once finally received I noticed that they already added a 20% gratuity to the bill! Everyone else in the party was tricked into giving a gratuity on a bill that already had the gratuity added to it! Very dishonest and you should be ashamed of your dishonest tactics!

Now this is a cool historic building in downtown Spokane. We reserved a back game room for a group of about 30 people. The buffet food was excellent, with a prime rib that was top notch. the two bartenders were great, with a phenomenal selection of drinks to choose from - including many local ones. the only downside was I did not have the opportunity to walk around the building, as I am sure there are lots of cool things to see. If you are in Spokane, definitely a place to visit.

Such a unique and accommodating venue! The events coordinator, Becky, is SO easy to work with but efficient, detail oriented, and professional. We hosted our small wedding in the Stacks room and planned it all with about two weeks notice. Everything turned out beautifully. The staff who was assigned to our event went above and beyond to help me with last minute set-up of the space since I was running late and did so perfectly and with very little direction. The venue itself is incredible! Such a cool historical building with so many interesting things to look at and learn about. I was given use of the bridal suite prior to the wedding which was thoughtfully and conveniently designed, and we were given access to the rooftop and the rest of the building for photos. The service was excellent and the food exceeded my expectations. Our 26 guests were able to order from the main menu rather than a set menu and everyone received their food quickly.I wanted my wedding to be a relaxed and romantic experience. Although I wanted to keep things small, I did not want to compromise on the aesthetics. Becky and her staff at the Steamplant helped to provide an unforgettable experience for us that exceeded my expectations in every way and did so without any complicated reservation process for an extremely reasonable price.

We had our wedding and reception at the Steam Plant. Becky Francis was the event coordinator and was absolutely amazing. She helped the entire day go smooth and we never had to worry about a single detail. The staff on the day of the event was friendly and helpful. The meal was delicious and all of the guests commented on how delicious the food was. We would HIGHLY recommend the Steam Plant to any couples who are planning their wedding in the near future. It was such a beautiful, amazing venue.
