“I had a great night at Hank’s enjoying the tasty French dip and fresh dinner salad. The roast was heated on the grill with very little fat on the slices. The bread was toasted; crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.“

“I visited The Loose Wheel Friday afternoon and shared some drinks and a meal with friends. We started with an appetizer platter for sharing and the fried green beans, mozzarella Sticks, and sweet potato fries were all delicious. I ordered the loose wheel burger and loved it. Great portion sizes and I tell you these sweet potato fries are out of this world. We had great service and overall a great meal. I reccomend this location for great food, drinks, and a great time.
Parking: Plenty of free parking in the parking lot.“

“Walk through the door, a dozen pinball games line the entrance. Approach the bar to a great selection of beer, hard alcohol and some amazing people behind the bar. Cocktail recommendations listed behind the bar. Amazing selection of sandwiches from Phillys to Cubans. They treated me like an old friend instead of a new customer. This is truly the heart of and height of old school Tacoma hospitality. Rumor on the street is they're expanding their venue for live music, and I can't wait to get back there.“

“I went to the pub today for the first time and I loved it the food was great, atmosphere was great, it has pool tables and pull tabs, and most of all the employees were amazing Bianca was awesome she told us about the food they had she was very kind and friendly. I definitely will go back“

“Flying boots is very much so the typical dive bar. The drinks are reasonably priced, the clientele are all friendly, and the bartenders (while very busy at some points) are friendly.
I recommend they're jalapeno poppers and the cheese logs as all of those are made scratch in house.“

“My friend and I meet here every month for brunch to have a “catchup conversation”. These can get a bit long. The servers are great about letting us sit while they keep coffee cups full and delicious food (waffles are amazing) coming “in stages”. I look forward to the dining experience almost as much as visiting with my friend.“

“McMenamins Elks Temple offers a truly memorable experience with its stunning atmosphere, great value, and high-quality food. The unique setting and service made for a wonderful evening, and the pricing felt fair for such a well-loved spot. That said, while everything we ordered was tasty, the menu itself leans heavily toward casual, bar-style fare—lots of fried items and basic burgers. For a venue that often requires reservations and carries a sense of occasion, it would be nice to see a few more elevated or mature dining options added to the mix.“

“Fantastic tavern in a beautiful neighborhood in north end. A huge variety of tasty local beers. Beautifully decorated with a warm inviting atmosphere. Didn’t have food but heard (and saw) that it’s fantastic. Lots of games including shuffleboard, darts and pool for only 50 cents!!“
