They had a very decent Indian Buffet and I haven't found one of those since COVID started. I was heading to Peru for a few weeks and wanted to get something amazing before I left and it fit the bill.

There are a few Indian restaurants in the Tacoma area, and I wanted to try something new. Those plans fell through and I came to Gateway To india, again. I was disappointed to see that my previous pictures that I've taken over 9 years weren't showing anymore on the app. The restaurant was completely full and I had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. I ordered the vegetable pakoras and wasn't happy with them. They were mostly batter instead of vegetables. The veg korma that I ordered didn't have the cream base in it that I'm used to... and needed salt. Maybe they were trying to make it a vegan dish. The server that was assigned to my table was very kind and helpful. It would have been nice to have some music playing for the atmosphere since it is an ethnic restaurant. The best part of my dinner tonight was chatting with my server.

Don’t even know why I gave them one star, I got the worst service in my entire life, went there around 11 am in the morning the lady who was there was so so rude with me and my friends and didn’t wanna have conversations with us when we asked her questions , I didn’t even order because of her behavior I left the restaurant without even order because of her behavior, I don’t know who own this spot but he should take this seriously, worst service ever…….

We were out shopping and starving when we stumbled upon this adorable restaurant. We stopped in and after a a short wait we got a booth and tried a plethora of dishes. Our faves were the chicken pakora and the medium butter chicken and the tandoori lamb. This restaurant has the best naan in my opinion and the decor and smell when you walk in speak to the attention to detail and wonderful food to come. We loved it so much we brought friends along on the last visit.

New place recommended by a friend. We went for lunch. She ordered a Lamb dish, and I ordered a chicken dish. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact names. My dish had chicken, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes in it. Great rice and garlic Nan bread. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. The soup that comes before the meal was a little too spicy for us. The service was good and restaurant clean. The servers were attentive and kind. Parking can be a challenge but I used the vacant business lot next door.

This is simply the BEST INDIAN BUFFETT IN THE STATE! I love this place. The service is outstanding. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is good. The only thing I can say as a retraction is they won't let me live there.

This is worst place for Indian food in US. Shame that they call themself Indian restaurant, their aloo paratha has is made like tandoori roti with no or little aloo stuffing and hard like a rock. Their chicken Vindaloo is nothing but a tomato gravy, pokora had just 8 small pieces , soup they give with entries is nothing but thick yellow dal gravy. All food quantities are on lower side .Over all I would call this a place never to be visited even if you starve for food and die of hunger.
