Harbor Lights always delivers delicious food! I had the halibut with mashed potatoes and the flavors were divine! We had a beautiful view of the water to enjoy as well. My out-of-town guests were most impressed!
I was disappointed that Harbor Lights did not acknowledge my requests for a window table as well as a birthday in our party. Additionally, all of the vegetables in the clam chowder were not fully cooked. The food was not comparable to the prices.
I have driven by Harbor Lights since I was in high school, and here I was making my first actual visit. I was surprised how much smaller this restaurant is than the other shoreline behemoths I've been to. And that made it unexpectedly cozier and quieter, which was a blessing in this era of ear-splitting restaurant ambience. Our server was top-notch, we were seated promptly, and the view was excellent.
