First time at Howdy Bagel for me was yesterday at lunch. I had the pastrami and egg sandwich on an everything bagel. I don't know if they make the pastrami in-house, but it was hands down the best pastrami I have ever had in my life. Everyone was cheerful. Overall, a great experience.Kid-friendliness: Just a chill environment, suitable for families.
Great food, friendly atmosphere, but long lines.The daily line outside the shop finally got us curious enough to try this out. After more than half an hour, we finally got inside, and the atmosphere was great - workers were lively and polite, and there was a variety of small business and minority-owned products to look at while waiting for your turn for the bagels. The place for bagels in Tacoma! We come to pick up 2 bagel sands each time we visit from Honolulu! Bagels are well made, fillings are generous and flavors are on spot. Only issue? There's always a line so go early on a weekday. Line's part of the charm I guess and the place has tons of personality!Parking: Go early for parking and no line.
